No, we don't celebrate the first of January because it's the first day of the year, we celebrate because it's the anniversary of the Baby Jesus' circumcision.
Luke 2:21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

Eight days from Christmas Day is the 1st of January.
So, Happy Circumcision Day, brethren and sistren.

The mission of NOCIRC (http://nocirc.org) is to make the world safer, according to their web site, and its goal is to secure "the birthright of male, female, and intersex children and babies to keep their sex organs intact."

What a brutal bunch. There are many mohels in my family trained in the covenant of brit milah and they spit on NOCIRC.

What a shame that all the mohels in my family have to be filthy Hebes. I am witnessing for Christ to them at every given opportunity.
