  • Thinking of getting a bear for a pet

    In the absence of my wife, I think I need an extra presence in the house to protect the kids while I'm out at work. I like how the Russians have adapted to living in harmony with bears.

    Bears are strong, noble creates and Biblical wisdom states that they make natural companions with man. One could say they make far better company than a liberal snowflake, and that's an understatement.

    Proverbs 17:12
    Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man,
    Rather than a fool in his folly.

    Anyone can shed light on proceeding with this idea? I need details (type, colour, temperment ect. etc. )

    I know Pastor Ezekiel kept 'bear cubs' in his basement, though I never saw them. I often wondered what he did with them then they got older.
    Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
    Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
    Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
    Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
    Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
    Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

      Jesus sent a message to Timothy Treadwell concerning bears. Anyone considering bears as "pets" might want to pay attention.

      Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
      brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
      ...and get off my lawn

        Timothy Tredwell was a silly hippie liberal who didn't have a clue what he was doing. He went out and exposed himself to unruly wild bears. Of course God would tear his sissy frame from limb to limb.

        See now, I am thinking of a trained bear. I've heard of a rancher in Texas, 10 miles from Glasscock, who specializes in a bear nursery. He seems like my best bet.
