We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. That man looks very British I think. Maybe something to do with the teeth?

          AMEN Brother Knees!!!!!

I was just taking a bite out of my tuna sammich when I opened this thread.

That horrifying image scared me sooooo bad I fell backward and hit my precious little noggin on my bookshelf on the way down.

Bless Brother T though for bringing a such horrendous and shocking creature that our innocent children may be listening to our attention. At least we are aware of the lurking weidrdos that are out there.

Eh. Whatever. Their music sounds good and that's what matters. Just like every other good band. It's not the appearance that makes a difference. It's the kickass guitar/drum solos, the awesome musical talent (especially Flogging Molly's wide variety of instruments), the enthusiasm and raw emotion driven by the fan base, the messege they spread, and the enjoyment people get out of listening and re-preforming their music. Just because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.

Precisely; we agree that the message of idolatry, Mary-worship, terrorism and drunkenness is the important thing about this awful band of deviants. I think someone needs to hear the Truth about secular rock music.

it's a nicely done comic, and the art is an obvious bastardization of Akira Toriyama's style but otherwise good.

not changing my mind on the music I like but still a wonderful tool for reaching a younger audience

Brother Temperance, I was merely pointing out that the comic may be a good way to reach the children of the lost, but it's message is lost on someone who has already made up their mind.

There's only one way to deal with (as you call it) Children of the lost. It's not with Comic Books!
We at Landover believe in the Old Testament ways for bringing up children.

                          The Bible® tells us in Proverbs: (23:13-14; 22:15; 13:24)
23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.
22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
13: 24He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

I think you need to leave rock music alone. Listen to what you like. And if you don't like it, don't listen to it. It's pretty simple, really.

And that comic was stupid. Christians go to concerts and have a good time. When I was Christian I went to a SlipKnoT concert and it was kickass. And I was still christian after that. Just because I listened to them didn't mean I believed everything they said. It was you who turned me against god, not heavy metal bands. They're just speaking their minds.
