Hello all,
I did you all a favor and attempted, in my spare time over my microwave dinner and diet Coke tonight, alone, once again, to watch the "Ida" special that they aired to try to push the whole "missing link" thing again (I noticed we have a thread about it over here), and wanted to report back in, to save you all the trouble of having to watch this drivel.
Of the two hour special, I could only force myself to watch the first hour, since at that point I had already thrown several pillows, the remote and an empty 5th of Jack Daniels at the screen, and I can sum it up as follows: the fossil was not a lemur; it was a monkey. The best science that that whole hour that I saw had was a cool little 3d video that showed what a monkey looked like getting run over by a Cadillac Escalade (Pastor Zeke, did you hit a monkey recently?
).
Overall, however, this is just more of the liberal Hollywood elites trying to manufacture another so-called "fossil" out of nothing more than a couple of bones found in a rock. It's pathetic, and I hope none of you fall for it.
