    That's a piece to treasure for sure, Dr. Toole. I hope Kinkade's descendants see opportunity. I think there is opportunity also for authors and academics in his art. When one studies this piece one can see several possible deep messages Kinkade had in mind. For example, as you enter the piece, there is a fork in the road. One leads to places of shining light, joy and glory. To the left is a small picket fence, darkness, sin and, Kinkade could have been telling us, hell. A Kinkade conference where Kinkade scholars could present papers about hidden meanings in his works would be a good enterprise. Maybe we could open a Kinkade museum and gift shop in Landover Baptist Church.
