That's a piece to treasure for sure, Dr. Toole. I hope Kinkade's descendants see opportunity. I think there is opportunity also for authors and academics in his art. When one studies this piece one can see several possible deep messages Kinkade had in mind. For example, as you enter the piece, there is a fork in the road. One leads to places of shining light, joy and glory. To the left is a small picket fence, darkness, sin and, Kinkade could have been telling us, hell. A Kinkade conference where Kinkade scholars could present papers about hidden meanings in his works would be a good enterprise. Maybe we could open a Kinkade museum and gift shop in Landover Baptist Church.

As a favor the members of our Landover Baptist family here, I'm alerting you to after Christmas sales of Kincade fine art. This art will undoubtably go up in value soon and buying it today, some discounted by 50%, may well make one a fortune later.

Art from deceased masters is like real estate - they aren't making any more of it. Except in Kinkade's case they are! He is, I mean.

That is so lovely. I gather that somehow the artwork was printed onto the mug. Would it be possible to have it printed as wallpaper? There are "murals" produced and I've been thinking of one for a feature wall; mostly they come in 4 or 6 large panels but aren't too difficult to stick up, once you get the edges aligned. However wherever I've looked, nothing suitable is offered.Originally posted by Dr. Anthony J. Toole View Post
Vile? "Sure!"
Demonic? "Take your pick!"
Godly? "Sorry, you'll have to try somewhere else."
Examples:
There may well be houses (one could hardly call them homes but joints, maybe) where this sort of thing is cool, edgy or tasteful. Places where they spray you with toad venom upon entry and serve dubious sweetmeats on oriental cloisonné dishes. Take number 4, for instance: would you eat anything served where that horror was displayed? As a result, I'd be so happy if a Kinkade could be printed as a large-scale wallpaper mural (number 3 gives a good idea of proportions) and made available in tones to suit a range of soft furnishing fabrics.
Thank you.

Unfortunately I think the only place in the world currently that would be able to bring about a perfect Kinkade-inspired world is China. If you look closely you can see Stonehenge just a short walk from London Bridge. One can only hope such a reality free of subversive sturm und drang can be manifested in our own countries.Originally posted by MitzaLizalor View PostAs a result, I'd be so happy if a Kinkade could be printed as a large-scale wallpaper mural (number 3 gives a good idea of proportions) and made available in tones to suit a range of soft furnishing fabrics.
4. London, England inspired Suzhou
Suzhou houses a remarkably accurate copy of London’s tower bridge. The replica however lacks a raising mechanism to allow boats to pass underneath. The bridge acts as a connection between various London-themed temporary structures. It is a popular destination for wedding photography. However, the area is known for many more things other than the replica of London’s Tower Bridge. It also accommodates its own Sydney Harbour Bridge and Alexandre III Bridge. There is also a presence of Dutch Town with windmills and Dutch-style housing in Suzhou. If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Yes, both of them! But Stonehenge is one place something might be available. The revolting "mural wallpapers" I included would be 超時尚 there and the psychonauts gathering in the vicinity from time to time are adept at large artworks. If you look closely you can see Stonehenge just a short walk from London Bridge.
I should point out that the "art-" is as superfluous as the "-nauts" and I doubt many commercial printers are among them. But wallpaper does get printed and I wonder if a scan of some sort could be supplied to one (a TIFF file, say) for a custom job? If not, there's an alternative.
Large commercial displays with "quantum dots" whatever they are, OLED, QLED, flexible or rigid, example follows ~
which at 115'' size or about 9½ feet could be combined to cover three walls of an average height room. Let's see how that would look?
Using a large display system, pictures could be rotated or settings adjusted to create a rippling brook effect. There are quite a lot of options and with crockery suggested a haven from the tacky world of catholicism, psychonautics (if those are different, which I doubt) and idolatry in general ("tawdry" is not the word, honestly!) would pertain.
Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Matthew 16:18 vibes: "...and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Behind the gates of Kinkade's magnificent structures is the lake of fire. Step not within non-believers.Originally posted by Johny Joe Hold View Post
