SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Around 1pm, police responded to a shooting at the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Skidaway Road near Victory Drive. A Chevrolet Avalance was in the drive thru when a gray-colored Ford Taurus pulled up along side it and fired at least once into the Avalanche.

And gee, who was arrested?

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah-Chatham police have arrested two suspects for a shooting at the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Skidaway Road Tuesday afternoon.

Police say all parties involved in the incident knew each other. Michael Jackson, 29, was hit by one bullet and taken to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Jackson and his nephew, 19-year-old Jadon Jackson, are both being held at the Chatham County Detention Center.

Actually, that was debated extensively and we concluded they all came under the banner of "sons and daughters". A transgendered person who was born a man and became a woman would be a "daughter". It is politically incorrect to refer to them as a "she-male" or a "he-she". They are a woman.

As for hermaphrodites who have both male and female genitals and gonads, we thought using "sons and daughters" also applies to them since they are both sons and daughters!

Ultimately we settled on "sons and daughters" but I was fighting for "daughters and sons" since putting sons before daughters was highly sexist and promoted putting men before women in a national anthem. I wasn't going to stand for that. Can you believe my fellow activists at Berkeley actually had the nerve to say to me "Geez, Tyeisha, sometimes you're just a little too left-wing." And I shoot back at them: "If you're not as left-wing as me, then you're a right-wing fascist pig!"

I was thinking about emigrating to Canada, but not if it has such a sexist national anthem.

Mr. Ingram-Myers, I must say I am so refreshed to hear words exuding tolerance and equal rights on this board! Maybe it's a coincidence, but I once gathered a protest petition letter with over 1,000 signatures of concerned Americans and Canadians and then sent it to the Prime Minister. The letter stated that we wanted that line that you mention to "sons and daughters". Also, we felt that just having the anthem in only two languages, English and French, was very racist, discriminatory, and an insult to all immigrants to Canada that neither spoke English or French. We even went to through the trouble of getting the anthem translated to Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Urdu, Arabic, Farsi, Russian, and Swahili.

Despite all our efforts all we got back was a letter "appreciating your concerns, but...".
