Dentists? Solution or sin?

I have a bad tooth.
I don't blame Jesus because I'm sure somehow I caused Him to smite the offending tooth. Maybe my mother did something before I was born and I am suffering the consequences who knows. The point is, I have this tooth and am considering making a dentist appointment to have it taken care of. Is this playing God?

I mean obviously I am supposed to be in pain otherwise the tooth wouldn't hurt. It is appropriate to "fix" what God has wrought upon me? It sure does hurt but isn't it supposed to? Isn't that what Jesus has dealt me?
Or is the dentist my way of dealing with a test from Jesus? He sees fit to test my mettle and I respond logically by having the dentist take care of it. Makes sense either way so what do the good members here think is the right course of action?

If God gives you a bad tooth, do you suffer in humility or do you overcome it using Gods gift of good private insurance? Which is doing Gods will?

I'd say you've got a demon in there Brother. Jesus doesn't want True Christians(tm) to suffer. Go find a creationist dentist and he'll guide you.

If you can't find one, a string tied to a toaster will do the trick.

Well, in my opinion it's a sign. Don't fix the tooth, have it removed.

If thine eye offends the Lord, would you not pluck it out? I assume it's the same for teeth.

C'mon Marshall, the U.S.A. is blessed to have the best dentists on the planet. Make an appointment and get that tooth taken care of. You don't want to end up looking like some toothless Brit, right?

It's a front tooth so if it must go it must also be replaced. I can't look like a worthless hobo when delivering a sermon on tolerance.

Get a little medicinal alcohol, and maybe a trusted Brother in Christ who is handy with a pliers, and you should be all set.

Now I realize it doesn't actually mention teeth per se, but I'm confident that the principle is the same

And you can use the insurance money for a dental bridge.

Well I went in for what the "doctor" called an "exam" this afternoon and all I can say is I think I need a bath now. I feel dirty and fondled like a little boy in Singapore.
First of all the office looked like a British guys library filled with leather chairs and houseplants, there were only women at the desk and they were all attractive but not whorish so I figured this dentist must be pretty good to have all this nice furniture and pretty ladies at work with him. The woman at the counter took my information and soon I was sleeping in a big chair waiting to be called back.
Thats where the ILLUSION began to fall apart.
The halls were white and sterile, no carpet at all and boy did he keep it cold in the back. Like a big meat freezer. The pretty nurse disappeared and some GUY came in the room and started looking over my paperwork and asking all sorts of questions about my eating and when I brushed last. Like it's any of his business when I eat and I think since I'm having the tooth pulled anyway what difference does it make when it was brushed last? It wasn't any of his business and I told him so. What happened next appalled and disgusted me.

He looked me up and down. He was undressing me with his eyes! I immediately told him I wasn't a queer and to keep his ice blue eyeballs securely in their flawless sockets or I was going to pop them like grapes. I reminded him that I was a Pastor and he had better watch himself or I was going to pray about my day and mention his filthy gayness to Jesus.
He left in a hurry and the next guy that comes in smelled like handsome spray and was wearing a smock like some sort of artist. He pours some goopy mess into a cup and forces me to drink it but not swallow it. I got the impression he was a gay too from his perfect smile and the way his hair shined in the sunbeam that came in through the window. He spoke of his bungalo at the beach and how much he liked to ride bikes. The mess in my mouth slowly became hard. I almost yanked my own teeth out trying to get it out of my mouth! It held on to every tooth like glue! It was an awful sensation let me tell you! This "doctor" seemed upset by me gagging and spitting but he kept going with his "examination".
The next part had this fella sticking his rubber gloved hands in my mouth and poking around with what looked like a pipe cleaner with a sharp needle on it. He pressed on my teeth until he found the one I came in for and BANG! That was some serious pain! Lord have mercy on my soul I thought I was going to come undone right in that dentists arms. He said it looked like a cavity and he'd try to save it at the next appointment in a week. Then he left and I was breathless and dizzy from the whole thing. It didn't help that he leaned so close that I could see the chest hair coming out from his collar and his cologne was in my face, it was all I could do not to wrestle him down and give him a shower to wash it all off. I couldn't even see the calendar on the wall behind him because of how broad his shoulders were.

I think he cast a queer spell on me too because the whole time he was there all I could think about was him on a beach and us riding bicycles to a coffeeshop, I almost asked him if he worked out! The power of a gay in a small room is incredible and shouldn't be taken lightly or even chanced. Satan really outdid himself when he invented faggotry. No wonder so many queers are queer. All it takes is one and they have you. Luckily I'm not like that and don't do those sort of things.
