  • Just a curious question.

Hi, I have a question which might provoke some thought and discussion (although I remain skeptic).

I come across many people in life and on forums that say such things as "I will pray for you" etc etc. But when people actually say these things, do they go home and pray for the people or is it just a figure of speech to be nice to someone. It just seems unlikely someone would go home at night and try to remember to pray for all the people they said they would pray for that day.

When I personally say "I will pray for you" (which I don't say often) I actually pray for that person I said that I will pray for.

Any insight would be great, thanks.

So, you're saying that you are perfect, but you suspect that everyone else is just pretending? Who do you think you are, Jesus?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

If you're not a Christian, then who are you praying to? Satan?

Guys, it wasn't a difficult question and you couldn't even answer it!

It's like when people say "bless you" after someone sneezes, do they actually mean it or is it just a figure of speech to make someone feel better.

Or am I still speaking Australian English?

How about 'God bless'. What do you think people mean when they say that?

Don't get lippy with me miss! Do you even have your husband's permission to be here posting on God's favorite forum?

When a True Christian(tm) says "I'll pray for you" we mean just that! I don't know what "pray" is a euphemism for down in Austria, but here in God's favorite country (AMERICA!) it means what it says!

              1- I am a man.

2- I still don't think you quite understand what I mean. Do you pray for every single person you say "I'll pray for you" too, do you want God to bless every single person you say "God Bless" too. How do you remember all the people you say that to when you pray?

Are you thick or something? Just because all you knuckle-dragging abos toss out lies the way normal people breathe, it doesn't mean that True Christians™ do the same.

We True Christians™ always tell the truth, we never lie, and we're always right.

Sorry about the "miss" thing, but you talk like a female.
