So I was out for dinner with some fellow job-creators, and had the 9 course meal at $145. I tasted my way through the wine list (no drunken revelry here, we just tasted and spat). I had made it clear to everyone that we were eating because the terrorists don't want us too, and if we didn't the terrorists would win. I mean we all want to go fight in Afghanistan/Iraq/Iran, but we're all too old or have other priorities.

But did we get any gratitude for what we were doing? No, they still expected us to pay.

Boycott Applebees. A pastor was there, and left a perfectly good note on the bill:


"I give God 10% — why do you get 18?"

Applebees fired the server who put the photo online - but not the entire staff, as the pastor recommended.

When I'm eating out I regularly use Bible tracts instead of tips (obviously they need to read the Bible more, otherwise they'd have a better job). I overheard one say to another "Too bad my Landlord doesn't take Bible tracts in lieu of cash". Well it's not my fault you chose a bad landlord, kid.
