Devo are of Satan. Mocking God's creation by claiming that man devolved from apes is every bit as bad as the other way around. In addition, even the secular community consider Oh No! to be far inferior to Q: Are We Not Men? or Freedom of Choice. Time to repent of your flower-pot-headed heresy and get right with Christ, boy.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Although I strongly disapprove of his woppish tendencies, I'd have to go with Marco Frisina's "Jesus Christ, You Are My Life" off the top of my head.

Hmm... well, I really don't give a damn if they were sent by the Flying Spaghetti Monster and His noodly appendages--they're a good band and based on a goodly number of people nowadays, I wouldn't be half surprised if we did devolve from apes. ^.^ Aside from that, I am really not "the secular community", now am I? So... yup ^.^

And I think I'll stick to atheism; I really don't have any room for any more imaginary friends, thanks though.

Friend, even a demon-possessed wannabe-jap like yourself cannot argue that a tired, formulaic tune like "Out of Sync" or "What I Must Do" is a better example of Devo's heinous anti-God message than "Jocko Homo" or "Gates of Steel." I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it, and neither is Our Lord.

Hmm... oddly enough, Gates of Steel is currently playing on my laptop.

Regardless, I have no interest in any anti-religious statements you may be able to come up with in regards to the band. My only concern is the quality of the music, which I find to be particularly exemplary in Oh No!.

Oh! And more of my favourite music that I forgot to mention!
American Doll Posse by Tori Amos as well as pretty much all of her other albums ^.^

What a disgusting, depraved thread. Why is it even still open? Thank you, Brother Temperance, for trying to bring Jesus into the conversation.

For the rest of you, here is some highly recommended listening that you may just want to transfer to your idiotPods before it's too late.

My GOD, Sister - It's Mrs. Judy O'Christian! How I miss her and her pickled Watermelon Rinds. I'm Certain she must sing like an Angel, too.

Thank you so much for the memories!!!

A retarded hag trying to figure out how to open a Bible (I assume that she is holding a Bible)? By the looks of it, she's trying to rip open its binding...

The depravity just abounds on this board...

I like Blind Guardian's A Twist in the Myth, Battalions of Fear, Somewhere Far Beyond, and David Arkenstone's Quest of the Dream Warrior. Odd stuff like that.
