Sister SUV recently mentioned to me in passing that the Sin-No-More Rolls served after Zeke's sermon this Sunday tasted different than usual. Apparently several other churchgoers had picked up on this as well. I didn't want to spoil the secret so soon... but yes, the kitchen ladies and I did add a very special ingredient that we'd never used before. I think it turned out great! For those who tried the buns, what did you think? Better? Worse? We're always looking for suggestions for improvement.
We got the idea from one of our church brothers who ministered to Godless Chinkistan during the late nineties. Apparently it's very popular over there!

Report: Cardboard Main Ingredient in Chinese Neighborhood's Steamed Buns
BEIJING — Chopped cardboard, softened with an industrial chemical and flavored with fatty pork and powdered seasoning, is a main ingredient in batches of steamed buns sold in one Beijing neighborhood, state television said.
The report, aired late Wednesday on China Central Television, highlights the country's problems with food safety despite government efforts to improve the situation.
