I am not sure where exactly this would belong, but I figured this would be the best place for it. I thought I would make this thread to share with you and to keep personal reference of my progress.
Anyone who has read my posts knows the following about me, for those of you who haven't, well, now you do.
I was born into a very strong Christian family. I am the youngest of two sons, and the only one who kept their relationship with God, My brother, over the last 10 years, despite my mother and my struggles to help him, has strayed. I am 35 years old, I teach Algebra II/Computer Programming & Chemistry at a public high school ( Yes I know. I cringe every morning I go to work, but for now I will just have to endure until God answers my prayers of getting an opening at a private school.) I have been teaching for 10 years now, and I do enjoy my job.
I have been married for a little over a year now (August 21st, 2009) My wife is taking home-schooled college courses, but I do pray that once our first child is born (as she is pregnant now) that she will forget her little fantasy of being a teacher and be how a wife should be. I am patient, and I know it is just a matter of time before she will.
Currently : Right now I am debating whether or not I want to send my wife to stay with my mother & father. They have both offered to take her in so that my mother can teach her to be a good Christian wife. I personally think she would do her some good. My family has always been close and I plan, once my son is born to continue that tradition.

) I definitely loved having his family there for me, the first child is a very scary time for a mother and it is very helpful to have a more experienced woman there to help her through. I have even heard doctors say that they would rather if women chose another mother to be in the birthing room rather than the father (as it was done in yesteryear) as it is one situation where the father is not exactly helpful.
