Yesterday I enjoyed a quiet evening reading my bible and had a Joel Osteen Video on .
My wife was in the kitchen baking a pie for me as I ordered her to and prepared for a rough bit of hanky panky under the sheets later on.
While suddenly my little Sister of 20 years younger entered the room with a stuffed animal, a dodo to be exact.
She came up to me with this sweet voice and said ”Pim, does teddy go to heaven to” I told her no, because teddy is not a living being created in the image of God. She started crying and I told her not to worry about it because god gives her everything she wants if she doesn’t associate with boys ever, unless I approve.
Than the heathen words came out of her mouth “But I love teddy”.
WHAT?
Love for a creature , a stuffed puppet, IDOLATRY !
The only one she is supposed to love is Jesus and the Almighty
So I grabbed a brick from the construction yard and chucked it at her with more speed than a train going down hill, full throttle.
She didn’t go to the hospital because it’s in the hands of god for someone to be saved.
Yet he saved her once she regained consciousness , she told me that she believes in Jesus and that Teddy would never be a substitute for out Saviour Jesus Christ .
I thank Jesus for that day, He showed her true light that day by sparing her life and forgiving her sinful ways.
But it also showed me something, that no matter what, how small we are as children, we have sinful ways in us that seem so innocent and can yet send us to Hell !
Truly she has been seduced by Satan
, and saved by Jesus
in one day.
