Does God's word contain no eternal, timeless, changeless truths? Or are you merely projecting your mental whims onto what you read and pretending that they are God's word?

God is indeed eternal and unchanging. What is good and moral in God's eyes is always good; and what is evil is always evil. Take the great commandment "Thou shalt not kill". Is it eternally true, or does it change each time the reader's tiny mind changes?

Think well on your answer! The fate of your soul hangs in the balance!

You recall that after Moses brought that commandment back from Mount Sinai the first thing he did was have thousands of his own people killed. So we see that the commandment "Thou shalt not kill" is indeed the eternal and unchanging statement of God's moral structure!

If you interpret the Bible differently every time you read it you are adrift. An atheist constructs morality on the basis of his own reason and his own feelings. He defines good and evil in human terms. If you twist the Bible so it is just the ever-changing reflection of your human beliefs and not an eternal truth...

...then you might as well give up and admit that you are actually an atheist.

Seranman, I was wondering if you could spare a few moments of your hectically sinful life, to help us True Christians™ fully understand the tactics Satan uses to turn you all away from the Lord? I am currently investigating whether he uses methods, such as a deprived diet as a child, to further weaken you to his will. So, I am interested to know, were you ever fed cookies and milk as a child? Fresh apple-pie? Kool-aid? Did you ever help out around the kitchen at all? Do you know how to work any kitchen appliances?

I sincerely hope you can help me with my research. I am now off to grab the tray of brownies from the oven, which have finished baking, so please do feel free to drop by for a cup of coffee and a brownie. That is, if you can possibly fit it in around playing with your tallywhacker to the graphics of one of your new-fangled game consoles.

What is WITH YOU?! If you don't like the forums, you can always do what I do when I'm looking at something I don't like, or reading something on the internet.....Turn it off. The people in these forums have their own right to do something like this. They're not hurting anyone. It's called freedom of speech. This is america, the land of the holy peoples, and its people like you that give me a headache. For one thing you KNOW that you won't like it, and you seem to think that telling us about you and your life will change their minds as to what they think of you. Well if your going to do that then you might as well jump into the path of a train. You won't make an impression here.
