I was planning to split mine between the orphanage and LBC. I was considering also giving 10% of the total to the local Baptists Helping Baptists program (which only provides food and housing/utilities assistance to Saved Baptists defending themselves against frivolous lawsuits).

From what I'm seeing here, charity seems to be the wrong choice?

JennyD -- no, if you're thinking charity, think Donation to the Republican Candidate instead.

Poor folks always get along somehow, but Republicans NEED YOUR MONEY.

I was craving a Saint John's handmade Bible ($115,000 on sale) but that just seems like gilding the lily and we know Jesus frowns on that.

So I'm thinking of buying the house out from under the Berholtz family, just down the road a piece. I can get it real cheap, and with the cold weather we've had lately the children won't suffer long after I kick the family out. Besides, freezing to death is not a bad way to go, right?

I imagine I'll raze the house and put in a small block of condos. Should make a pretty Christian penny or two out of the deal.

I'm going to buy this RCA 32" LCD HDTV with Built-in DVD Player and Digital Tuner! As long as Elmer doesn't need the money for his truck. Then I can bake Snickerdoodles and watch FoxNews at the same time!

The ladies at the orphanage taught me that Wal-Mart was evil, because they drive American firms out of business and destroy local shops, and put American money in the hands of Chinese who don't tithe a dime instead of good American union workers who would gladly contribute 10% or more to their churches as thanks for God's Manufacturing Bounty.

Strangely enough, the filthy hippies I work for agree! (Except for the tithing part.) They say that buying imported goods from Wal-Mart will fail to stimulate the economy, and that if we are to buy things, they should be from American companies.

(OK, they said purchases should be from local co-ops and communes. I've translated that into American for the rest of us.)

The Chinese take our money and use it to buy the T-Bills that are sold to finance the federal debt - which is where the money for the stimulus package comes from in the first place. It is all part of our Godly President GWB plan to enslave the chinks in the first place. I am continually amazed at how smart he is - we get to pay off that debt in inflated dollars.

High-end toilets seem to be a trend this decade. Maybe it's related to the increased popularity of bolemic second wives? They spend a lot of time with their faces in toilets, so it makes sense that the toilet should look good.
