    2006 Christmas Sweater Knitting Contest!!!!

    It's THAT time of year again ladies. Let's see who can knit this year's most beautiful Christmas sweater.

    Here is our winner from last year. Sister Sue knitted this delightful little number and then hot glued a Christmas tree to it. Ingenious!

    Good Luck! The winner get's a years supply of yarn from the Yarn Barn and all the buttons she wants.

    Excited, Sister Thumper.

      My, I must say I committed the Sin of Pride just a little bit over winning that contest! I'm not sure what to make this year...say! Any of you Men need a "cozy" for your KJV 1611? I may be able to applique' it with Sister Thumper's JESUS/George Bush Image:



      And perhaps I can knit stylish Crosses to hang off one's SUV rear-view mirror that say "Watch Out For Cops!" in cheery-colored Holiday sprinkles!

      You've got me excited now too, Sister Thumper!!!

          It does get mighty cold here in England sometimes... if you could knit me a nice warm woolly jumper, I'd be very grateful. Maybe one with a picture of Jesus returning (it is His birthday, after all!) and using the sword in his mouth to execute the Pope, Hillary Clinton and the Dalai Lama on the front, and something nice and simple on the back, like a thousand pig-demons pissing onto a burning Koran? Just a thought.

              Yes, I could certainly try! And wouldn't the part of your post I bolded make a great bumper sticker for vehicles, too, ala "Calvin" answering nature's call on Fords and Chevys?

                  I hope you folks won't see through my trick to get Elmer to buy me a cute little Puggy Pug Pug for Christmas, but I do want one so bad. Is it O.K. if we include doggie sweaters in our contest??? Pretty Please?
