I have some very influential banker friends who know just how to handle these kinds of things. Does your husband have anything against Joos? Specifically Joos that are friends with ex-Joos like me? I am kind of their buffer, you see. I make sure your husband doesn't get scammed while they make sure your husband doesn't seem to be scamming! What a deal!

Fortunately Matthew has no need of the joos on this (or any other) occasion, as everything was sorted out early last week through the usual slightly indirect channels. The pastors are admirably quick to respond to and deal with problems of this nature.

Oh, that's so reassuring to learn, dear Sister Joanna, and I do thank you for that. Looking at young Morton's photo, I can see just what your husband means! I suppose we shouldn't be too hard on Morton, though. I'm sure he has a purpose in life somewhere, such as on a dock where he can give helpful advice. Perhaps you've heard the story about the two Joos who were relaxing by the seaside one day. The first one dipped his feet in the water and shouted: “It is cold! It is cold!” The other one dipped his nose and shouted: “It is also very deep!”
