Suggestion: The "Ignorant Atheist" medal

Every day, we get ignorant atheists. I don't just mean ignorant of the Love of Jesus; I mean the ones who don't even understand their own science, etc.

For example, yesterday one witless twit presented an atheistic quote as coming from pagan emperor Marcus Aurelius, which . . . well, wasn't Marcus Aurelius. It's a misattribution, which anyone with 12 seconds and Google could figure out. They could also figure out that Marcus Aurelius was quite devoted to his pagan idols, if they read his writings instead of hearing what they like and claiming it to be true.

Others show up and tell us the age of the Earth has been established via Carbon-14 dating, or sometimes Carob-12 dating, or "something like that".

They come up with all sorts of ridiculous ideas that show they don't even understand the lies they're supposed to believe.

So, I think we need an Ignorant Atheist award, to point out how dull-witted these "people" really are.

...So, I think we need an Ignorant Atheist award, to point out how dull-witted these "people" really are.

Isn't the "Full Of It" medal sufficient? Feel free to nominate those you think deserve one.

That one is applied to false Christians as well. I'm thinking it would be good to call special attention to these know-it-all atheists who don't even understand their own talking points.

Starting with the one I linked to, LittleJackoffMan or whatever his name is, who insisted that Marcus Aurelius was an atheist. And thought that Christians would care what a Pagan Roman emperor thought anyway.

I was about to suggest a cross stuck in the "Full of It" pile of poo for the false Christians, but I don't think that would go over well.
