I like the name, but with my limited exposure to the evil world, I was wondering if The Average White Band plays music that is safe for a good Christian like me?

I've never heard of them. I agree that their name seems inoffensive, although I don't approve of the degradation of God's favorite race (White) as being "average."
Our glorious history proves otherwise. Glory!!

I can recall two songs by them. One is called "Pick Up the Pieces" and is an instrumental with a saxophone lead, and the other is "Play That Funky Music, White Boy," which title I think speaks for itself.

I've never heard of them, but since the average person is unsaved, I don't have much hope.This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
