    This is a banner ad I just saw on this forum.



    WTF?

    And it's not a result of my browsing history - due to certain troubles with the government that I'd rather not get into I clear my cache several times per hour.

          I saw this too. I must say I thought it was rather shocking. Perhaps a Pastor was misinformed about the nature of the ad when it was sold. Surely they must have believed that the money received for the ad was honestly earned and would serve to Glorify God! I'm sure this is an innocent mistake that will be explained to our full satisfaction.

          This is no place for ads for fat joy boy homers so that they can rendezvous and spread AIDS and clap and God only knows what else! Our Christian youth need to be protected from this kind of Devilry!

                  My guess is it's an update that changed how the ads are displayed or something along those lines. Ads never used to show up before on my computer. I'm pretty sure the ads are tailored to what's posted in a thread. Ex: In that muslim thread there was an ad for a muslim dating service at the top, and in that diet thread in the BB forum there was an ad for pancake syrup at the top. And yeah, I've seen that chemistry ad too here.

                      I think we should start issuing Infractions to ANYONE who sees such vile abominations on their Screens.
                      I've certainly never seen such a thing and I'd certainly worry about catching the AIDS if I ever did.

                          I see ads for continuing-education courses at Liberty University, mostly. Sometimes a plug for the NRA.
