I have never understood this idea...
Does the idea mean that,
as my Grandfather and father were both soldiers all their main working lives,
I should still get both their pensions , and a chunk of back-pay ?
Also, Grandad got shot three times...should we be chasing down the culprits and demanding damages ?sigpic
