Nobody did. Apes and humans developed from a common ancestor and this intermediate form was even found and reconstructed.

As we are currently discussing Why Atheists are so miserable, I have decided to start this new thread - to continue my '101 Reasons' Series with '101 reasons why Atheists are WRONG'.

Reason No. 1 - The Holy Bible!

Atheists 'claim' that God doesn't exist, yet the Bible proves them WRONG! I can see the Bible, hold it in my hand, and know 1000% that it exists! As God wrote the Bible, this proves that he MUST EXIST too! How dumb these Atheists are!

Reason No. 2 - Evil-ution from Monkeys!

If we really evolved from monkeys, why do monkeys STILL exist? Surely they would've evolved too? And why don't we have tails or swing from trees or speak in monkey-talk? These atheists must be pretty deluded to believe such nonsense!

Reason No. 3 - The 'Big Bang'

Atheists believe there was a 'Big Bang' which created the Earth and the Universe and all things?? Well, what created the 'Big Bang'?? And what was there before it 'banged'??? Ask ANY atheist - they won't be able to answer you! Why? Because God created the 'Big Bang'! And then went on to create the Earth and everything in just 6 days! Praise Jesus!

Reason No. 4 - Dinosaurs

Most dumb atheists believe that man and dinosaurs didn't inhabit the Earth at the same time. However, we know this to be a LIE! Didn't Noah ride dinosaurs onto the Ark? Aren't Dinosaurs mentioned throughout the Bible?

The bible was never written "by God". The bible was written by man, supposedly influenced by God. Your bible even states this. There are flaws in men. There are mistranslations.

Atheists do not believe in GOD. They believe in the bible. Can you PHYSICALLY touch, see, hear, taste, or smell God? And please don't hand me this "I can see God's work" crap because you're not seeing God, you're seeing a flower. You're seeing a tree. Those aren't God. Those MAY be his work, but they're not him.

Ask ANY God-lover - they won't be able to answer you! Why? Because THIS ARGUMENT CAN BE MADE FOR EITHER SIDE. It's a pointless argument. All I did was sub in a few words and it makes your argument sound just as ridiculous.

Second, the VERY FIRST LINE of the magazine article (not a peer-reviewed journal) starts like this: "Fifteen years after its discovery, Ardipithecus ramidus, the oldest known skeleton of a putative human ancestor..."

Do you know what "putative" means? It means "supposed" or "reputed" and not (for instance) "definite."

According to the false science of modern "physics" atoms have not always existed. For example they say that when the "universe" was smaller than an atom, the sub-atomic particles existed as radiation in a "false vacuum" and when the expanding universe was a bit bigger (but still not big enough for all the particles to exist as particles) there was a short-lived "quark soup" resulting in an "inflationary epoch" which eventually caused sufficient expansion for the particles to resolve and (later on) for atoms to exist.

Now, they say, there is enough room for many different sized atoms to exist, with space in between (but there is still radiation: perhaps that wil resolve into some other type of particle after the current inflationary expansion has gone through a few hoops?) QUESTIONS: that's as good as it gets. The Bible on the other hand, contains ANSWERS.

And do you know, why they always say putative? It's because they may find even older forms of pre-humans. But the whole image is clear. About 6 million years ago, the heritage line has split into three - humans, gorillas as apes. All these pre-humans are showing signs of both humans and apes. They walked upright (like humans) but still with the brain size of apes. So, what makes us human is not the brain size, but the upright walk, as you can see among many church members.....

There is so much absurdity sowed in the fabric of the OP's presupposed, blanket statement. This guy is so desperate for a dose of reality that he doesn't even know it! Who better than me to give him his timely injection? Might as well open a walk-in clinic while I'm at it.

Athiests seem to make a big deal out of why they don't believe in God, they go around bitching and moaning about practically everything ... like anything they have to say is actually important?? Seriously, why don't they quit their whining, and realise their lives could be so much more - if they just 'got with Jesus'.

Well first off, when we are confronted by religious nuts about our lack of faith, and begin to be threatened with such a silly threat such as hellfire, we have a right to get angry, we sure the hell do. Also, following the conclusion of this statement, it appears you are asserting that not only atheists are miserable, but all theists who don't believe in your God, this just reeks of lunacy.

One can take notice of Buddhists, some who don't even believe in a god. If you do your homework for once, rather than expecting God to do it for you, you'll come to the knowledge that these people manage to find happiness and peace with themselves even in poverty, detaching themselves from materialism and the infinite wisdom that wealth and luxury do not guarantee happiness. I see too many people in other religions who are apparently happy with their lives to be faking it. I fail to see any legibility in this statement. We tend to be happier when we realize if we want something done right, we do it ourselves, praying to your invisible sky daddy is not going to make things better for you, you're only convinced beyond hope it does.

Yes, Athiests are pretty pathetic. They're all such lonely angry hateful and bitter people, so I doubt they have many friends. But I wonder why they choose to be so miserable? When Jesus Christ offers them the chance to be Saved. The chance to be washed in his blood, and feel happy and whole and alive again! Glory! Glory to God! Only someone exceedingly stupid would you choose to reject that!

Funny, the irony in this statement is priceless. Also, I happen to have many friends whom are atheist and theist alike. I'm guessing your assumption for this sprouts from you having a hard time making atheist friends with your absurdities, that is, if you even choose to think they're worth your time, which I'm confident is a fat, ugly no.

Atheists prefer to befriend people who aren't so judgmental towards people, and for good reason, and they don't regret it a single bit. I don't regret it, for I know all my friends are mostly sane people, as long as I can get along with them and they have no fault with me, then I have no fault with them, and they are all entitled to their own quirkiness and silliness, because people differ from one another.

But no, these hateful grouches choose to wallow in their misery, instead coming up with far out reasons as to why 'they think' God doesn't exist! They write books about it, spread their hate across the interweb - because they're jealous of us! They're jealous of us Christians because we're happier than they'll ever be! Because we have God's promise of eternal salvation, and because we know we're going to Heaven! Halellujah!

We don't make enemies because they differ from us, we judge them on the merits of their character, not their beliefs. I bet you've made quite a few enemies as it is already due to this depressing mindset of yours. Also "thinking" you're going somewhere after death doesn't mean you "know" you're going there. NDE experiences don't count, there are atheists who have recalled 'heavenly' experiences before being revived, including Carl Sagan. They are simply a product of DMT produced by the pineal glands as the brain starves of oxygen when someone is declared clinically dead. Also, I can "think" that I'll feast with warriors in the grand halls of Valhalla when I die, but that sure doesn't mean I'm going there. You can accuse us atheists of "faking" this happiness all you want, but it means nothing to me.

Why do these grouchy grouches reject Christ? They see that all Christians are happy people, always smiling and full of God's love. But instead of wanting to be part of the blissful joy that is being Christian, they choose to attack us?? I don't understand it. I had no choice in being atheist, it was an autonomous process by application of rationality and skepticism to my worldview perspective as I ventured through adolescence. I once was Christian as you were, but in my late teens my doubts became overwhelming. I can't force myself to believe anymore then I can force myself not to believe.

Christians are happy people? You sure don't seem happy to me with your bitter, judgmental, depressing attitude. I see no "blissful" joy here, only solidified ignorance.

I don't see Christians smiling when some start to question things that can't be answered, and are made to believe they are born worthless humans because of what two naked people did thousands of years, and they didn't even know any better then a dog who wasn't potty trained!

As you will now learn, religion created this thing called "sin" as a guide for undisciplined sheep. Without the belief that we are all born immoral and wicked beings in need of salvation, the chains of religion that have choked our existence would finally be broken for good and humanity would be free of its secured limitations, and we may, for the very first time, to get along as a civilization for once without killing and creating unnecessary enemies over silly things like faith. This sounds like a much better plan then anything your man-made God could ever possibly conceive.

Who can live a happy life with the thought that such a precious and fragile thing as life, rare in the universe as it is, is destined to end in a pointless and unnecessary Armageddon that has been predicted numerous times since the times of Jesus' disciples? Not to mention how many people of your own faith bicker amongst each other, and how many different sects there are. Its pure comedy gold. You guys are going absolutely nowhere with this nonsense. We have come so far as a race, avoided impending disaster, created many philosophies, ideas, discoveries and exploration and expression of self through various art forms. Its beyond banal to think all this will come to an end one day.

I find much more happiness in the notion that humanity is capable of greater goods that do not require religion as prerequisite. One day, we will ALL develop the intellect to shun off religion as an ancient superstition, and advance towards the stars, if religion doesn't destroy us first.

Beforehand, we can still make discoveries to learn more facts of life, realize further more just how beautiful and terrifying the universe is, ease unnecessary suffering and intolerance amongst ourselves (which many of you are guilty for perpetuating), and cease stupid wars that stop us from making peace with each other. Do you think praying to thin air is going to get any of this done? Well you can pray all you want in your silly ways, while us atheists are actually getting stuff done, even with a smile on our face! Because I'm sure you know, if you want something done right, do it yourself!
