I believed you about religious people being happier in general, I've seen the study before, but every time I've mentioned studying on here (as a girl) I've been told off by male members and told that I should be cooking or cleaning for my husband, so I was surprised that you had time to read such (secular) studies.

Sister BIG has a spotless home and a well-fed husband. She has more than enough time to squeeze in a half-hour of reading before bedtime, after spending the previous 12 hours hard at work.

Were you posting in the men's section by any chance? Yes a woman's place is in her home. You don't know how much those of us who wasted our early years on education struggle with our Christian duties. The only good that has come out of my education is that I am better educated than most school teachers so the state can't say much to me about home schooling my children.

The kicker for me is this: these atheists have billions and billions and BILLIONS of dollars. They have access to the world's finest laboratories. They have the technology to see (as they claim) to the very edge of the universe, or to peer inside the minutest building blocks of earthly matter. They can put a man in space, cure the most ghastly diseases, create computers that far outstrip any human brain in their analytic powers.

And yet...

And yet not once in history has any atheist ever provided concrete evidence for God's nonexistence. Not one hint or scrap of proof. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

With all this time and all these resources, with all these supposedly brilliant minds, don't you think someone would have come up with something by now? And don't you think the fact that they haven't means that maybe — just maybe — God is really out there somewhere?

I think it's a reasonable assumption.

You need better reading comprehension skills. She did not say she only had the early years of education. She said she was educated in her early years. Most people consider being in their twenties to be young, right?
