I hope this thread hasn't been viewed by many people? How can I tell?
The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. Tell you what - as a temporary, stop-gap measure, I could change the title of this thread to "Should I kill my Hunting Dog?: WARNING - DO NOT READ THIS THREAD!" Do you think that'd help?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

What thread? I didn't see nothin'.
Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My Name they will drive out demons.

1 Kings 21:14 Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned . . .

            A SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER:

Those heathen maids obviously taught your dog to do that while you are asleep, and then they get their jollies out of watching it! Have them both hanged in front of your other servants (and prospective servants) to show them this is not acceptable.

Which sixth Commandment? The one that says "Thou shalt not kill servants"? Please post the verse if you're going to refer to it.

Riiiight. So then how do you explain this story?

Under God's direction, Moses' army defeats the Midianites. They kill all the adult males, but take the women and children captive. When Moses learns that they left some live, he angrily says: "Have you saved all the women alive? Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." So they went back and did as Moses (and presumably God) instructed, killing everyone except for the virgins. In this way they got 32,000 virgins --captive girl children virgins! ---- Numbers 31:1-54
And this verse, where God specifically tells us to beat servants, and who cares if they die?

If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property. Exodus 21:20-21

Right. So it doesn't say "Thou shalt not kill germs, fungus, cows, tuna fish, viruses, wasps, mosquitoes, etc." either. What does that mean then? Maybe we should use the words "put down" instead of kill. After all, that's how people refer to ending the life of a draught animal or a racehorse. And servants, even good ones, are certainly less expensive than even mid-level racehorses.
