    Re: Smoking reefer with Bible pages!!!!!

    I hope the child was also charged with drug paraphernalia. They need to throw the book at this kid.
    Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
    Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
    Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
    Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
    Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
    Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

      In 1611 the King James Bible was first printed on hemp paper. Do you really think King James wasn't rolling doobies?

        Re: Smoking reefer with Bible pages!!!!!

        Let me add one more thing. I understand that since I came to a christian forum, and am posting on it, I basically am looking to stir up thought, not cause trouble or anything, however as I've been reading through the pages, I've seen as much hate, if not more, directed by the so-called christians of this forum towards the "dope fiends" "Hippies" and "joos"(spelled incorrectly). I mean I'm sure this isn't what God would want. All during my time as a Christian, my pastor reminded the congregation not to shun or openly hate people, but to pity and try and help them. The "Rev" on page two obviously didn't catch that lecture in seminary. Dunno how he got his job with that attitude towards "sinners". oh well, I guess he'll have to cater to his standing congregation of middle age and up people until they all die out and then he'll have to find another job...the idea's to save, not exile...as I understand it atleast....something to think about fellas.

          As a matter of fact, the hypocritical aspect I just outlined is why I stopped going to church, and am an avid atheist now. Heck, if there is such a thing as heaven I wouldn't want to be up there with a bunch of snobby biggots who apparently would rather point fingers and call names and find joy in other people's lament, than to actually stop and help them out...say something like, hey man, looks like youre having some tough luck, if you need some help, I sure am here for you, even if you don't believe in God...that would actually encourage non-believers to start believing more than if you just called them stoners and told them they were going to hell...something else to think about.

            You're sure that's what God would want?

            If you were raised in a church, why don't you know? Your church didn't encourage people to read the Bible?

            If you were part of that sort of feel good cafeteria Christianity, what prompted you to leave?

            I mean, you make it sound like a circus every Sunday with a nice kitten to pet for everyone.

              I thought false Christians always did that sort of thing. They come up with fake feelings and concern and want to be there "to listen to you" when really all they want is to keep you in the congregation.

              We preach to people in the exact way the Bible charges us to.

              2 Timothy 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
              Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

                Re: Smoking reefer with Bible pages!!!!!

                1st, I'm no dope peddler. I understand that weed is bad for a person's health, and can even hold some people back from moving up in the world. Idk how God feels about it. I have no Bible verse regarding it, so feel free to help me out. The only one I can think of is the one saying it makes you unwise to be drunk or something of that nature.

                2nd, when I went to church we went to nursing homes and did fund rasiers for the needy, and actually helped people. The pastor never condoned sin. He also never condoned hate which in-turn is sin. Correct? If I'm wrong, please help me by showing me a Bible verse stating that hate is not sin, or that hate is something God wants.

                3rd, I left church not because the people were bad people, they were always nice, but they had hate in their hearts for certain types of people, such as gays or alcoholics. I can't judge them for it, because I wouldn't want them to judge me for who I am, but I can distance myself from it.

                Can you understand why a person who's lost faith would be less likely to come back to God when they see posts saying they wouldn't mind hanging someone for lying or horse theft? I hope not by the neck, because that would be unlawful. It's radical beliefs like that that separate real christians from the nutty ones. Did jesus once kill a man? Christian means christ-like right? Wasn't Jesus wronged? Even by his most trusted apostle? He denied Jesus 3 times, but he was forgiven, certainly not slain.

                  Re: Smoking reefer with Bible pages!!!!!

                  When I think of a preacher, I think they should preach the same as Jesus would have. No preacher, not even you are holier than Jesus. He healed the sick and the people who didn't believe. He healed them, then told them to trust in him. He didn't say well, you didn't believe in me or my father, so I guess I'm gonna leave you here to rot, and oh yeah, have fun in hell. Oh well, I won't try to tell you how to lead your congregation. You're happy with it and they are too, so while you're preaching to the choir, other churches will go actually help people. And if there is a heaven and rapture happens tomorrow, I'm sure they'll be at the front of the line my friend.

                    1 Corinthians 6:19-20
                    What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

                    1 Peter 1:17-19
                    And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
                    But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

                    1 Corinthians 3:16-17

                    Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

                    1 Thessalonians 5:4-8
                    But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
                    Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
                    For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
                    But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

                    1 Peter 4:7
                    But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

                    Titus 2:12
                    Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

                    Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

                    God's word says to not associate with alcoholics.

                    1 Corinthians 5:11
                    But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

                    or homosexuals Pay close attention to the last verse.

                    Romans 1:26-27,32
                    For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
                    And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
                    Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

                    Not if the law sanctioned what the Bible says should happen, but alas we are forced to obey secular laws.

                    Revelation 19
                    11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
                    12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
                    13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
                    14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
                    15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
                    16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
                    17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
                    18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

                        In an earlier post spaghetti made a good point, about THC still effecting someone that has consumed cannabis, yet I didn't see any replies relevant to this. Also, cannabis has been proven to kill cancer cells and help with many medical needs, as well as industrial. So, where would the problem be?

                            Yes of course that is fine. That is the reason God invented it. Not to use to get high.

                                Why do all dopehead pot-tards try to find an excuse for their illegal, immoral and sinful ways? They can't just admit they have a problem, like say someone addicted to angel dust or PCP, instead they try to actually use the bible in their defense. You rizztards ought to be ashamed of yourself and pray that the good Lord doesn't use you to fill the devil's hash pipe - and that dude hits the bong hard if you are wondering.

                                And please stooptards, please, stop bringing up the hemp gambit. If any one of you brings up George Washington growing hemp I may need to attend yet another revival this month.
