Why should I embrace darkness and evil? If I am a Christian, and I walk in the Light of the Lord, I do not embrace what is evil. Also, my judgement of who is successful is correct. Yours is wrong. Why? Because I am Saved(r) and can judge all things. You lack the spirituality for righteous judgement.

Besides, my cousin smoked pot, he is a devout Christian. Successful man too, he's getting married in April!

I've been baptized, my sins have been washed. I am saved! I think we're all equal by the way. I would rather just say we're equal than create frustration and hatred by trying to be a better person than someone else! That's too much hatred, and violence for me. I <3 peace.

I'm not sure if he still smokes...but even if he does, we all sin. And smoking pot isn't a "deadly" sin, as far as I'm concerned. Like I said, we all sin...we all make mistakes, but it seems God forgives us when we pray.

Hello, I've just finished reading this whole thread. Here is my take on it.
Someone asked a simple question (Whether it was a sin, or not, to smoke marijuana), and was met, not by kind, loving Christians like the bible tells you to be, but by hateful, judgmental, and prejudiced people.

You people (The Christians on this board), aren't telling him why its a sin, you've all just been calling him names, judging him (something the bible tells you, you should never do), and being so hateful.... And at the same time, after you've just insulted these people, you tell them to respect you?

These people ("The Drug addict hippies, who are "damned to Aeternal Hellfire") have so far, been very kind and respectful, and have shown you multiple facets of information, which, you wont even take time to read, you just insult them more.


Also, you guys keep bringing up the KJV bible, like its the "End all, be all bible, inspired by god", but how can that be? Its been edited so many times... Therefore, you people are the ones following the false-religion.




ON TOPIC: You have THC receptors in your brain. The brain god gave you. These receptors are made specifically for that chemical. THC is the active ingredient in Marijuana...

Why would god put a receptor for this magical, and wonderful plant, in your brain, if it was a "satanic plant"?

There are multiple sources that prove, we have been using Marijuana, for about 15,000 years now...And that people in the OT, were smoking (well, actually vaporizing, on rocks) Marijuana.

We have proof, every single culture in this world has used Marijuana. Or other "sacred" plants/hallucinogenic, to "raise" their spirits. As a part of Ritual, or for recreational use.


Marijuana, was made illegal in the USA, in 1937, by use of propaganda, and continues to be illegal, in the USA. So in that right (And that right ONLY) is Marijuana a sin. Is the fact that your current government has made it illegal.

THEREFORE: If you want to smoke Marijuana and not be a sinner, move to a country, where its legal.

When you drink alcohol, and use drugs, i agree, it lowers your inhibitions... BUT, you will not start acting different, then the same person you are inside. And, your judgment isn't gone on drugs, altered perhaps, but not gone.

Millions? But what do Alcohol deaths have to do with Marijuana? No directly from Marijuana. And it wasn't the Alcohol, that killed those people, but the person who thought it would be ok to drive under the influence of such a thing
