O_o This is exactly why I think some people need to step outside of their church for a few minutes and realize that stereotypes are exactly what hide the truth.

Most of those signs aren't signs of a goth kid--they're signs of any given teenager. You were all teenagers once. Kids these days experiment, and if you don't want that happening, by all means, try to stop it. It probably won't work but in the end you'll probably feel better about yourself because you tried.

I can't speak for all teenagers because frankly, I don't want to (Some of them really should just drop off the side of the earth), however, it's rather frustrating to be looped into a stereotype when you only share one or two of those "warning signs" up on that list.

This is exactly what makes me lose my faith in Christianity, and you know, it's kind of upsetting--because I so badly want to believe. However, the more people that I see making ridiculous claims, the less I want to believe that God would support this.

I'm wondering exactly where we're upsetting you. Specifically, what part of God's Holy Word are we not following? Because we do our level best to follow His Word to the letter. God does in fact hate queers, for example. He hates all manner of perverts. We aren't fluffy-bunny make-believe Christians who sugar coat God's Word just to fill the pews on Sunday.

If that's true, God created homosexuals, God created athiests and God created pedophiles. If we're all here for a purpose, God put them here for a reason too. Was it so you could mock them or was it purposely so people could direct them into a different direction? Either way, if God made everyone, he made them too. Homosexuality has been been proven to not be a choice--so God made the gay man gay. It doesn't answer why He still hates the gay man. Is it really just a chess piece or a practical joke, or what?

It is true that some goths are in the occult. But the key word there is "some." Trust me on this, not all goths are destined for hell. Actually, allow me to correct myself. They all are destined for hell, but remember friends, so are we. We have all sinned. Nobody is perfect, no matter how holy one claimes to be. We all are evil, so we have no right to judge each other. Only He can judge us, as He shall do in the end. Now, for a question: Do you even know what a true goth is? You probably don't, seeing all the horrible judgements you have made. There are Gothic Lolitas, such as my friend who posted before me. There are Romantigoths, such as myself. There are also Cybergoths, Punk Goths, and so many more. Now, let me assure you, I am not a satanist. I go to a Christian school, go to church, and I am getting Confirmed this year. I am baptised, and I have studied the Bible. I love God and have accepted Jesus as my savior. No matter what you might say, I am a true Christian, and I always will be. I just happen to be a Romantigoth. My use of the word "destined" was too strong and incorrect, I suppose, if you look at it from that perspective. Again, I apologize that you took my words that way.
