Also, I have never heard of ANYONE doing a thing like that. And I have heard A LOT of disgusting things in my time. If you had read my first post, you would know I have a four year old child. If someone stuck a coat hanger in their uterus, they would probably badly damage it and thus not be able to procreate. The only thing or person I have sex with is my (Christian) boyfriend. Oh the blasphemy! A god I do not believe in will condemn me to a hell I don't believe in! And probably my boyfriend too, regardless of whether we are good people or not, for daring to mate with a Pagan at all, let alone outside the bounds of marriage! And oh how conceited your god is, if he would condemn a good person to hell for not doing all that he commands!

Speaking the truth does not spit in anyone's face, Christian deity or otherwise. Not that one can spit in the face of a dead man who, faith aside, for all you know could have actually been capable of these "miracles" because he might have actually been a witch, as many Pagans believe. Though I myself think he was just a man.

No one is defending child rape, though you seem oddly interested in the subject and think of it often for people claiming to be so against it.

The Catholics are not the only denomination of Christianity that has had priests arrested for molesting or raping children. I have only ever met, or heard of, one Goth who has supposedly molested children. To my knowledge, this is just a rumour, but everyone who has heard it would avoid him if they saw him, but according to this rumour he is also in jail, as he should be if it's true. There are sick-minded mentally ill INDIVIDUALS in every religion and every group. But for the most part, Goths are not responsible for any of the things you claim they are, and do not do the majority of the things you claim they do. No one is defending child rape, people have simply pointed out this is extremely uncommon within the real Goth scene.

Who said anything about abortion? What makes you think Goths commonly practice abortion? I assure you, many Goths have children and have never had an abortion. The ones who are sexually active usually practice safe sex. And why should I care what you think of abortion anyway? I am pro choice and there is nothing wrong with that. I would not ever have an abortion, but I firmly believe that a woman who is raped should not be forced to carry her rapists children for 9 months. And since you apparently support GodhatesGoths.com, which claims that Goths are given handicapped and mentally ill demon children who do not deserve to live, why should you be against Goths having abortions anyway?

No one is bragging about anything. Do you even know what the word bragging means? Do you even know how to understand a point? I was pointing out to you that I do not have sex, or put, anything man-made in my uterus, and obviously never have put anything that could damage it in it or I would not have been able to have a child. Having sex with someone you love is not being a whore. Please learn the meaning of the word. I have never accepted payment for sex. As a matter of fact, my boyfriend and I were betrothed, which in god's and the church's eyes was always as good as married and many people throughout history have "anticipated their wedding night" so long as they were betrothed. So while by LEGAL STANDARDS we are not married, by CHRISTIAN and YOUR DEITIES standards we ARE.

As to wearing black, so what? The Amish wear black. Priests, nuns, business, high school principals, etc., wear black. Goths actually wear a VARIETY OF COLOURS, which would you also know had you properly researched the scene.

Where have I defended the Catholic church? No one has defended the Catholic church. Can't you lay claim to any basic reading comprehension skills? I simply pointed out that your religion has been contradictory. Goths do not protect rapists or anyone who commits horrible atrocities or crimes. Nor do most modern Pagans.

Goth does not equal homosexual. There are many straight Goths. Goth is a GENRE OF MUSIC AND A FAN OF SAID MUSIC. The only way to no longer be a Goth, is to no longer like the music. And if one truly likes a genre of music, they rarely cease to do so.

Is that supposed to scare me? I AM a believer in MY religion. I already know that reincarnation exists. Why would I be afraid of your hell? I'm sorry, but I have no intention of ever converting to a religion I do not believe in, that has done very little that has not been in hate and violence, and that has a conceited god who would condemn a good person simply because they do not believe. At least Pagan gods admit they are fickle.

Maybe because some Goths already have their own beliefs, and others are already Christian. The genre of music you listen to and the clothes you wear do not dictate what religion you follow or believe in. I know perfectly well that you would call my boyfriend a Goth when he is a Metalhead, and he is a Christian.

It disgusts me that you try to have an argument with me, yet either disregard or refuse to even read the majority of what I post. It disgusts me that you have never researched the Goth scene, yet continue with these misguided, ignorant, and incorrect judgements. Not all Goths are pale skinned, most are pretty models, most do not have mental problems (and there are no more within the scene than without), and no Goth tries to teach any teenager anything except what the Goth scene really is because we do not want them to go down the path you are accusing Goths of following. There is nothing wrong with sleeping in all day and being up all night. In case you haven't noticed, many people, including Christians, work night jobs. And I would much rather be out at night than during the day in summer the last couple of years, considering a good portion of summer has been under a heat advisory warning during the daytime, and everyone needs to be exposed to fresh air and exercise. However, no Goth teachers their children to sleep in all day and stay up all night. My child has a bedtime of 9 PM. He is often taken to the park or a playground DURING THE DAY, and will be starting pre-school this month. It would be really stupid and impractical for him to be up all night. Not to mention that, allow I am Pagan, my son has been allowed to attend bible school with his cousin's because I have no problem with him learning about Christianity. So long as he is taught by decent proper Christians and not bigoted backwards fools. I certainly have no problem with him learning bible stories, the bible is a nice collection of mythology.

Gothic architecture has little to do with the modern subculture either, except where it is used as album art or in Goth photography/modeling. Living in a Gothic house or liking Gothic architecture does not make one Goth. The only living Goths are the modern definition, which is a fan of Goth music. And considering Gothic architecture was used for churches, and considering the Goth tribes were Christian, if you insist they have some baring on the modern scene even though they do not, it contradicts any arguments as to the evilness of Goths.

That is THE gothic culture, it's not our fault that you are living some pale imitation of the real thing. Besides, anything that is not following the Bible 100% is evil. It's very simple, good people who follow the Bible goes to heaven. Evil people who does not follow the word of God, goes hell.
