When do I have to be saved?

This question is purely hypothetical, I'm an Athiest, but I'm curious...

After reading about this guy I was wondering if I could just sin most of my life, then at the end of it, just become saved and then go to Heaven?

Unlike you, God is not an idiot. You cannot trick Him into accepting you into Heaven. Either you start reading the Holy Bible and praying to Jesus immediately or he will figure out you delayed on purpose to have some extra fun here on Earth. And make no mistake Jesus sees everything so he also sees you have been warned on this forum. The choice is yours.

He didn't plan this ahead in an attempt to trick God. You are. You obviously aren't 100% sure about being an atheist, otherwise you wouldn't be wondering about these things. There is a reason for that. Deep inside, you realize there must be more. Answers to questions atheism doesn't answer like what was there before the big bang, or how can incredibly complicated beings (ever watched a movie on a molecular scale of self replicating DNA?) have evolved from simple dead matter. Deep inside you know there has to be more to this. Follow this feeling and open your eyes, you will be amazed by what you will learn and discover.

Haven't you ever heard the saying that those who plan to repent at the eleventh hour often die at 10:59? A wicked sinner could plan on a life of sin followed by a deathbed repentance and then get hit by a bus that afternoon.

Yes, but it's a dangerous game you play. Your conversion has to be sincere--you don't get saved by claiming to accept Jesus as your savior, you get saved by actually accepting Jesus as your savior. And even in Heaven, there are better places to be and not so better places to be. Be careful, or you'll wind up in the servant's quarters with all of the homos who got saved at the last minute.

Plus, you could also be unsaved when the rapture comes, which could be any day now with the current rate at which prophecy is being fulfilled. That would give you another chance to be saved, but read the Book of Revelation--life is not going to be very pleasant then.

And if he truly accepted JESUS and the WORD of the LORD (KJV 1611), he will be saved, while you rot in Hell. His only danger is if he blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Then he has no hope. (Matthew 12:31)
