    Is flirting a sin?

What if you're really, really bad at it?

What would the function of this firting be? To commit whoredoms! A good True Christian(tm) girl doesn't need to resort to such slutty behavior in order to attract a husband. A well-scrubbed, gleaming kitchen floor and a well-baked, steaming pie speaks volumes on your skills as a wife.

That's like being "really, really bad at" being a queer.

God sees through your their ineptitudes.

I do not use drugs. But if I were more skilled or could even remember the basic methods of flirting, I might not have just had to pay $ 320 to fix my car.

Praise be to Jesus, I could be stuck with a burro.

Pastor Zeke is right, a woman has no business considering activities such as "flirting". Her only concerns for getting a partner are tending to her two ovens--one of which produces pies and the other of which produces babies.

i also have problems with some of the slang of the youth but this one i have personal experience with.

flirting is when you almost do something but then not do it anyway. for example you are tempted to commit criminal behaviour to financial gain but then stop because somebody warns you of the police and consequences. in that case you have been flirting with a possible jailtime.
The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

I have no partner. No one gives a wit about my pies, and without a husband, I am woefully unaware on how to conduct myself in certain situations.

Generally, I can count on the Bible for guidance as to what to eat, what to wear or not wear, when to keep silent and when to cast stones, but every once in awhile, I become confused as only a foolish weaker vessel can.

Now, if flirting involves holding my KJV tightly against my chest, listening breathlessly to every word proceeding forth from a True Christian Brother's mouth and nodding in the correct places while flashing a demure smile, then perhaps I can manage such behaviors. But I would not want to cross the line and engage in a hair flip and make actual eye contact if such actions were to put me wrong with the Lord.

Guide lines from mature, trustworthy True Christian males would be appreciated.

                  Determinedly Yours,

                    Re: Is Flirting A sin?

flirting is just another name for feminine wilds. Females use it for two proposes the first is to attract a man, the second to to get a man to do something against his will. The first is found in nature, and is just for procreation purposes. The second is used to get a man into a jewelry store with the intent of emptying his checkbook of all cash.

I don't care that much for jewelry. I would rather browse in the power tool section. If God sees fit to send me a husband who comes with the Deluxe Dremmel with all the attachments I would be a happy girl.

It's in the human sinful nature.

                          Eph 4
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
God ask us to put this all off and put on the new man, who is Christ! So we always need to pray that God fill us with the Holy Spirit, put His Word in our heart so that we may not sin against God.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
