Am I bound for hell ?

Hey, i'm new to your site as have only just stumbled across it.

I have a few questions that i'm confused about after reading a couple of the threads and articles on here.

A bit about me

I'm a 23 year old male living in England, I'm not actually religious, I believe more in science and the theory of evolution rather than the world being made in 7 days (unless of course its a missprint in the Bible and they actually meant 7million years) and after reading one of your posts on identifying the devil/evil in your children I think I probably scored on about 10 of your points ! I think you said over 5 and there was issues

So I dont believe theres a god, If there is i'd like to ask him why my grandad spent over a year slowly dieing despite being a trully great man, fought for his country, and had a loving family. But I guesse no ones going to answer that one

Does getting drunk at weekend when lets be fair its my time of the week to relax and unwind after a weeks work, having sex while in my teens ? (Just to inform you the age of conscent in England is 16) and on occasions taking drugs while socialising make me an inherintly evil or bad person ?

I dont believe it does, In most ways i'd say i'm a rather nice guy, I'm not selfish and I try to look out for my friends.... so where exactly does this belief i'm evil in some way come from ?

I'm not a landover baptist, I'm a heathen , a Pagan who also believes in evolution.
I don't believe in a hell either, and in my opinion, you can't go to a place that doesn't exist.

But, the answer I am sure the True Christians(tm) here will give will most likely be the following:
'Of COURSE you are going to Hell if you don't REPENT, get right with JESUS and tithe to Landover! For if you do not worship the one true God(r) then you worship Satan by default! Glory!!

So yeah........my guess is, prepare to hear a LOT of that. old

Was your grandpa a True Christian (tm), if he wasn't the suffering he had dying was nothing compared to what he is having in Hell right now. Why should God care about you if you don't care about him? Remember he gave his son to us. Allowed his son to die for a short time to save your sins! Don't think you at least owe him a little respect?

But hang on ? Didn't the pope (who is clearly something too do with god surely ! ) Dictate the slaughter of millions of innocent lives during the crusades ?

How can you rationalise hacking off an innocent child or babies head in the name of god ? A child is innocent surely....

Anyway yes my parents and grandparents are religious, I am not.

I label most religious folk under the same label i'm afraid. What can i say I refused to attend Religious studies at school in favour of doing a proper subject instead

So is there any hope for me ?

How can I stop myself going to hell ?

I, like Mark, have also looked at the list of so-called Badness.

I know one Goth chick, who also happens to be gay. Is she going to hell, too? 'Cos as far as I can tell she's not going around drinking blood, shying away from sunlight or communing with evil spirits (far as I'm aware).

OK, let's take a long good look at my "shortcomings", too:

1-Frequently wears black clothing.
11-Drinks alcohol.
14-Complains of boredom.
15-Sleeps too excessively or too little.
16-Is excessively awake during the night.
19-Spends large amounts of time alone.
21-Insists on spending time with friends while unaccompanied by an
adult.
22-Disregards authority figures; teachers, priests, nuns and elders
are but a few examples of this.
23-Misbehaves at school.
24-Misbehaves at home.
27-Watches cable television or any other corrupted media sources.
(Ask your local church for proper programs that your child may watch.)
28-Plays videos games that contains violence or are of a role-playing
nature.
29-Uses the internet excessively and frequently makes time for the
computer.
32-Expresses an interest in sex.
33-Masturbates.

I am NOT a Goth, however. Never have been, never will be. Yet, according to your list, I'm damned to hell when, as far as I can tell, I'm a pretty decent, straight up, moral dude!

Nevertheless, if God intructs the killing of children -- and he has done that many times throughout the Bible, it is incumbent apon us to obey.

I will try to get back to you later with some more scriptures about this. You obviously have a lot to learn my friend. Children are not innocent -- not for a moment if they are the children of unsaved trash or the children of God's enemies. In fact God will visit the sins of the fathers onto the children until the 10th generation. I thought you would have heard of this verse, it is well-known.

I have absolutely no idea what that means ?

Would it be possible to be a landrover baptist but have the odd sneaky joint at weekends ? (Joint is cannabis by the way, God made it ! so why cant I smoke it)
