Are you serious, Woolen Y- fronts ?

Having lived my life mostly south of the Mason Dixon line I have run into a bit of a problem since relocating in Iowa. I have always followed the Bible in my dress but I am having problems and would like to know what other True Christian men do to facilitate their wardrobe. Of course I am speaking of Leviticus 19.19 and the mixing of fabrics when dressing,
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee.
In the south you would buy a suit that was either Linen, cotton or silk and it was easy to find undergarments of these materials. Recently I went to the Tailors for a couple of winter suits and found that the norm was to buy wool. Do the gentlemen of this area wear woolen Y-fronts as well? That does not seem very comfortable at all. Actually even with shorts it would seem to be prone to chafing. Walking at a brisk pace in wool would almost guarantee the gentleman a case of rug burn. Gentlemen please advise, for now I plan to just stick with cotton and long johns on the colder days.
    sigpic 1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

No one ever said that being a True Christian(TM) was easy. Jesus was beaten, forced to carry a heavy wooden cross and the crucified where he died( temporally). Do you think that was more painful that a little rash? Brother I ask you this, isn't a minor inconvenience worth your Salvation(R)? Oh and a light dusting of baking powder helps. YIC James

Your tailor is (surprise) probably fitting your pants too tightly. Many of them like to do this, to "up" the number of "visible" homogays in a community. It is part of the Gay Agenda.

Keep a close eye on him at all times as he's on his knees fitting the trousers. (He'll try to linger. Don't let him!) When he's done, DEMAND that every seam be let out a full inch.

This should fix any friction problems, and swiftly undermine their plans.

Brother, you seem to misundertand the passage.

It is referring to a single garment made of mixed fibers. Not multiple garments of different fibers.

For example, you might wear a linen suit, cotton shirt, and and nylon fishnet pantyhose a silk tie.

If I could only get a consensus on this it would make my purchasing of a winter wardrobe much easier and infinitely more comfortable. As I said before, in the southern states this has never been a problem for me for the last 50 years. In hopes of a speedy resolution to this query I Thank you. I do hope to get a final verdict from church elders before it is considered the true answer.

Well I wear cotton Y-fronts with wool pants. In the summer I tend to wear cotton pants, cotton underwear, but a silk tie. The wife asked a similar question of the women and they said that a wool skirt with a silk blouse was fine, not that they really know what they're talking about. But it seems that the consensus is that each piece of clothing must be 100% whatever fabric.
PROOF: Atheists are too stupid to understand the Bible!

Proverbs 13:24(KJV): "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."

Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Brother, I've conversed with Widow Helen, who thinks I am very much in the wrong. She reminded me that if you believe something to be a stumblingblock, then to you it is a stumblingblock.

I think the Pastors may well agree with Helen that indeed, you of all people should be wearing woolen Y-fronts.

Re: Are you serious, Woolen Y- fronts ?

                    Pardon me for interrupting. I believe the answer lies in this Bible verse;

Deuteronomy 22:11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

Clearly it is referring to a singular garment.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Song of Solomon 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

Well, Sister, either Brother Benedict can take the word of a woman, or that of Helen. Which do you think he'll listen to?

                      Wait a minute . . . I mean . . . Helen is a woman and all, just an experienced woman.

No, no, no, not experienced like that, I mean she's a wise old woman. Er, older, not old.

Oh, you know what I mean! Stop looking at me like that!

Um, let's not show this to Helen, OK?

Rev. M. Rodimer let me put it this way. Just say I wanted to wear a mink fur coat. If the garment was singular, then I would just wear the coat, and maybe a matching hat. If it was meant as plural, then I would have to wear mink underwear, skirt, blouse, top and shoes.

Brother Benedict I was no way implying that you should wear such a thing. I was just trying to provide an example of if I chose to a wear mink coat.
