Did you miss my post about the neighbour giving his wi-fi as a gift.

So if my neighbor builds his house on my property? plows a field on my property? Sends his man servant to do work on my property?

Perhaps if the Wifi could only be used by one person at a time, it could be considered stealing, but your neighbor could be online and not even notice you. Unless of course you decide to pirate a bunch of videos or something.

I thought I was pretty clear in my initial post in anticipating the potential God mockers that might come around here and try to undermine the Bible (KJV1611). "Coveting" is a thought crime against God, it says nothing about actually doing anything about it.



If my neighbor refuses to erect a fence on his property and I happen to observe his scantily clad harlot wife sunbathing in the back yard I better not even think about the idea of planting my seed in her as that would be a sin. If, however, she wanders over to my property and begs me to put some seed in her it is an entirely different matter.

A Wi-Fi signal is an example of the latter, as it simply wanders on to my property.

With referance to the above comments, I did state

That is the debate, I was just showing that your special book in Deuteronomy 5:21 covers wifi as much as it does a house, field, or man seruant etc.

At no point did I pass comment as to whether to use your neighbour's wifi was right or wrong.

I figured I would put few cents in this thread regretting the Wi-Fi Signal.

Assuming they didn't add a password on the wireless router(You know, the machine that gives those Wi-Fi signal), its fair game but just remember that they're also paying to use that kind of service for their house. What I would suggest doing is asking the neighbor if you could use their wi-fi and donate some money to them to help pay for the service. This way, you could avoid huge problem for everyone in future.

Before I moved to new place, my neighbor was 'stealing' my wi-fi since it didn't have password on it.(Thanks to my stupid room mate who can't figure out how to enable my wireless router signal on her computer.) So what I did was redirecting the neighbor to lolcat repeatably.

Absolutly true, there are newbees to the net that don't bother reading up on how to protect the signal, 1- Password, 2- good encryption, my American neighbor who is a computer expert at Ramstein told me to always encrpt and use letters numbers and symbols, and always be aware of people sitting in front of your house in a car doing what appears to be nothing, in reality, they are using a laptop and stealing your wifi, and those are the ones that are really dangerous, because they steal the signal to do criminal activities in your name, not good at all.

OK so the wifi bit was an edit, but let us look at what your special book says in the rest of the verse that WWJDnow was referring to:

Deuteronomy 5:21
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbours wife, neither shalt thou couet thy neighbours house, his field, or his man seruant, or his maide seruant, his oxe, or his asse, or any thing that is thy neighbours.

It's good to see that you have started to read the KJV, Jo Freddie. Keep at it and you will soon see the error of your ways, repent and become a Wise Christian. That being said, you shouldn't debate with True Christians about what The Bible says as long as you are still an unsaved piece of trash.

IF a neighbors wi-fi signal wanders over into your realm, it is a lost sheep signal. Then Bible must apply, and it doesn't involve the Commandments.
KJV Exodus 22:9 For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.

Note the important part >>> challengeth . The wi-fi signal owner MUST challenge you or "the cause" is not brought before the judges.

It is NOT theft unless the judges condemn you. Then you have to pay double unto your neighbor.

In short, its free and OK unless the neighbor challenges you and it is judged in his favor.
{I make sure no neighbor has the balls to challengeth me about any of their stuff that wanders into my realm.}

If your neighbour has left their WiFi router so that anyone can use it, then the chances are they have probably also neglected to change the default Admin pass word, so be a good neighbour and log in to the router and secure it for them. As you don't know what devices should be using it, it might be best to lock everything out (apart from yourself as you would then have turned the router into a brick). You can let them know what you have done once you get back from your three month cruse.

That's a good one, I love it!!!, while your there though, somewheres in the middle of the 3 month vaction, log into his PC, and tell it to reformatt, that's even much better, then call him and ask if he was smart enough to back up all his impotant things on an external drive, lol, lol, lol, lol.....

For those that don't know what lol means, it means, I'm laughing out loud.
