I have nothing against rational thinking. It's what turned me away from sickular society and back to God. The more science I learned at school the more I realized that they were just guessing.

I see you just read the title and made assumptions rather than bothering to read the post. Pretty common practice for you, isn't it.

Although my husband and I fully support everything that True Desciple said in his post, I disagree with the title.

There's "rational thinking" as in thinking through the angles and coming to the correct decision. And then there's the sickular version of "rational thinking" Science is True (don't bother with looking anything up, just believe that it's true) and God is false.

Trust me if the first version of "rational thinking" was what God hated, you'd be a shoe-in for heaven. I don't think you've got two braincells going in the same direction.

You seem frustrated. You are trying to reconcile what you think you know about Jesus with what you learn the Bible says about Him, and yet you take your anger out on us.
