It's easy to tell that you hate God with a passion. If you hate God, you can't be saved. I have some Chick tracts you can have to help you find your way to Jesus, if you'd like.

How exactly did you prove her wrong?
She quoted God's Word, re-dictated in 1611 by God. You quoted WickedPedophilia, written yesterday and today and to be edited tomorrow, all by nobody.

You may have missed his column, but Remy LeBeau has the Ask an Ex-Negro thread here. He was born mostly Negro, but through prayer and the love of Jesus, he has become clean of the Curse of Ham.
In case you missed that part of the Bible, Noah's son Ham saw his father drunk and naked. Instead of covering him up as a decent gentleman would, he ran out and told his brothers. His brothers covered Noah up.
As punishment, God cursed Ham and all his descendants through all generations to be the servants of other nations, and sent him into Canaan (Africa). Which, of course, is where black folks come from (descendants of Ham).
God makes the rules, Shauna. We just follow them.

The Bible isn't a thesaurus. It vividly describes the event that we call the Rapture, and whether or not the specific word is used makes nary a difference.Originally posted by OPCjustin View PostI didn't hear one thing about a rapture. Not once was the word mentioned.

15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I didn't hear one thing about a rapture. Not once was the word mentioned. It doesn't even mention when. It just says that the dead in Christ will rise. The rapture is a false idea popularized in the late 1800s

Unless you can prove me otherwise, your wrong. There is not one mention of the word rapture or even a hint of a rapture. The rapture is a popular belief among Christian groups so that we will no have to be here for the great tribulation. The war between heaven and hell.Originally posted by Sister Mary Maria View PostWhy must you lie? Is your hatred of God so out of control?

Re: Racism
Rapture?? What rapture? Its not even mentioned in the bible.Originally posted by Sister Mary Maria View PostI'm a little late to this conversation, but praise Jesus, this sounds wonderful! Will it matter if our own homes are destroyed? Of course not, because we will have been Raptured and sitting beside God looking down on His blessed plan! There are benefits to being Saved, and being able to look down on the suffering heathens is just one of them. Hallelujah!
The popularization of the term is associated with teaching of John Nelson Darby, prominent among the Plymouth Brethren, and the rise of premillennialism and dispensationalism in English-speaking Churches at the end of the 19th century.
In 1908, the doctrine of the rapture was further popularized by an evangelist named William Eugene Blackstone, whose book, Jesus Is Coming, sold more than one million copies[1], and then by its inclusion in the Scofield Reference Bible in 1909.
The rise in belief in the "Pre-Tribulation" rapture is sometimes attributed to a 15-year old Scotch-Irish girl named Margaret MacDonald (a follower of Edward Irving), who in 1830 had a vision that was later published in 1861. Some pre-Tribulation proponents maintain that the earliest known extra-Biblical reference to the "pre-Tribulation" rapture is from a sermon by "pseudo-Ephraem", attributed to a fourth century Byzantine, Ephraem of Nisibis, in which he is quoted as saying, "For all the saints and Elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins."[2][3] However, the interpretation of this writing, as supporting pre-tribulation rapture, is debated.[4][5]
Others argue as well that the oldest known reference to a great tribulation to come and a possible escape from it is contained in The Shepherd of Hermas manuscript dated to the second century. This text includes a series of visions that appeared to the shepherd. The first vision was of a giant raging bull, and the Shepherd was able to escape harm from it by relying on God for protection. The next vision encountered was that of a beautiful maiden, identified by the shepherd as the church. She identifies the bull as the great tribulation to come, and tells him he escaped it by putting his trust in God. She then charges him to go tell all other believers they can also escape the coming tribulation but only if they also put full faith in the Lord [citation needed]. This interpretation, however, is not accepted by scholars, as it is clearly taking the visions out of context. The "escape" of the "beautiful maiden" does not refer to a rapture, or being taken out of the tribulation, but it refers to going through the tribulation and yet coming out victorious from it by faith in the Lord.[6]
There exists at least one 18th century and two 19th century Pre-Tribulation references prior to Macdonald - in a book published in 1788, in the writings of a Catholic priest Emmanuel Lacunza in 1812, and by John Darby himself in 1827.[7] However, both the book published in 1788 and the writings of Lacunza have opposing views regarding their interpretations, as well. It is inarguable, however, that John Darby held the pre-tribulation position.

No True Christian is a racist. We do not hate people of races for their race. That would be silly.
We do, however, realize that God cursed the Negro folks, they being descendants of Ham, to be servants of the white folks for all their generations.
You may deny that all you wish, but it's precisely what the Bible says.
You must be one of those "salad bar" Christians, who likes to pick and choose the parts of the Bible that YOU feel are "right" to follow, instead of following ALL the parts of the Bible.
Who, exactly, are you to decide for God what He should tell us?
The Bible is the complete and perfect Word of God. We don't get to pick and choose from it, we must follow ALL. It's not all happiness and joy and sweetness, and neither is God. If you read the WHOLE Bible, instead of the little bits your liberal preacher told you to read, you'd know that.
