However I find it curious that you folk will not deal out tolerance, yet you expect it to be given to you by everyone else.

Xtians who complain about predjudice against them actually mean one thing: they mean that they're unhappy when they AREN'T treated better than everyone else.

To bad for you that there will always be people like myself and all the folks in the ACLU who care enough to battle for equality so that you ARE treated the same as everyone else. Which is saying a lot, considering how you would choose to oppress everyone else, were things reversed. It is people who do NOT believe as you do who show mercy and compassion to arrogant you-know-whats like yourselves and yet these are the very people you would oppress in turn. Ironic, no?

I'm not talking about the biblical version of 'compassion'. I mean the real thing. The kind that extends towards people who believe other things!

Ruthy, I've noticed some senseless hate here, and I was overwhelmed in my first few posts. I am surprised by it. God and Jesus want us to love, not to hate. Hate is a way to blind a person from finding God. Hate spreads more hate. "Love thy neighbor as thine self."

Millia, you are obviously a false Christian who has been lied to and led astray by limp wristed pastors who cherry pick the parts of the Bible they don't like. I want to urge you to take a good look at THIS thread, from which I paraphrase below.

If you are here because you think we are intolerant, and you are here to try to get us to change our "intolerant" ways, then this section is for you.

We have different definitions of tolerance and hate. You think that we hate someone when we show intolerance, and that to love someone means to tolerate his differences.

We believe that tolerance is the opposite of love. We believe that all nonbelievers are going to be tormented forever in Hell. To be tolerant would be to stand idly by and do nothing, while these folks approach certain doom. We believe that it is loving to rebuke and reproach these people, to save them from doom by any means necessary.

Better re-think your faith, lady.
