Re: Christian Men, hard to come by

LOL, there is only one thing to read, the KJV 1611 Bible. I read a chapter a day to my entire family. After dinner and when the women are done cleaning up, we discuss the day and all the problems and triumphs. Then we read the Bible and scoot off to bed. In fact, I have to do that now, look at the time! It is nearly 9:30 PM here!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I think we should start here on the boards. We don't need to rush things after all. Could you describe yourself dear? Height, weight, visible scars, any lamenesses or palsies, that sort of thing.

And I assume you are a virgin of course and that you are not some sort of Mexican, because both of those would be deal breakers.

I'm very much looking forward to gettin to know you better!

I'm about 5'5" and 115 lbs. The only visible scar that I have is hidden under clothes from a bicycle accident when I was 7 years old. I am a virgin, and have apsolutly no Latin or Mexican blood in me at all. My genes are traced back to the celtic days.

        And you, Mr. Portway?

Well, I am of course a pilot. I am in my late thirties and I have been married previously, but when I became interested in getting to know Christ, my wives lost interest in me.

I have three children that I miss dearly, but they live with their mothers in various states of sin. Brisket is 19, Verbina is 18. They both still live on a commune in Washington state with their mother Pearl.

My youngest, Faldar, is 12 and he lives with his mother Dawn in Guam. You'll have to excuse their names, I wasn't thinking very straight back in those days. The two older kids have basically disowned me because I'm Saved and they are very liberal hippy types. I've seen Faldar a couple of times since I got my job at Landover. The Pastors have missions to Guam every couple of years.

And it is difficult, but my faith in the Lord makes it easier.

I bet it's hard seeing them throw thier lives to Satan when they have a wonderful Man to bring them to Christ.

My boyfriend that I broke up with last year tried to grow a beard once. It made him look like a child molester!

But he only wanted one thing from me, and I knew better than to give in to the pressure. God's the only person that will be inside me until I get married!

It is difficult. You see, I grew up on a commune and never knew who my father was. Growing up was hard, as most of the adults were on the drugs or invovled in weird orgies all the time. I got my first pair of real shoes when I was about 12. My mother died of hepatitis soon after.

Pearl and I were "married" very young by one of the hippy "shaman" on the commune. It was all a blur of incense, granola, and drugged out sex. But I eventually saw the light and left that pit of sin. My daughters opted to stay with their mother.

I was saved when I was 23. I met Dawn while in flight school. She was a Christian at the time, but she headed down the sinful path of MMORPG's and once my son was old enough, she corrupted him with the video games as well. He is not as damned as his sisters, but I do worry about the boy.

I pray for that miracle everyday, but it is not something I am very hopeful about. But enough about me!

Re: Christian Men, hard to come by

My life is pretty simple. I grew up here in The South. My parents sent me to Christian schools all of my life. Both of my parents worked, so home schooling wasn't an option. My dad thought my mother should work, only to provide a better life for the family, with more money coming in. Anyway, because I have had more, formal, schooling, I'm well educated. I thought about going to college to get a teaching degree for history or science (of the Creation kind). That is of course is God isn't opposed to that, but it would be nice to have a teaching degree so that if one day I do have children, I can teach them with out the Government sticking it's nose into everything.

I take it he sent you the picture of me? He seemed to be rather impressed. He is a great Man, isn't he? I don't know if im qualified for his study anymore, being as I Just accpeted Jesus into my heart as my Savior. Just last night actually! The Pastor from my church came over to give me some dirrection about me going to college or not, and about me having a full time job to support myself being as I dont live at home

His name is Pastor Mark Rochester. My father has his phone number, I don't. Dad is asleep right now, so I'll go over tomorrow and ask him. I deeply applogize for being so talkative. I'll work on that, Pastor. Thank you.
