I live in a former communist country where people can't afford soap. Yet, gas is $10 a gallon and people still vote Republican!

You're an idiot, lady. Are you claiming that the GOP can control hurricanes?

Jesus is in control, missy. He's the landlord. We're just renters here. GLORY!!

What you are forgetting is that all the displaced nigras in Louisiana are not going to be able to vote.

The American people are not going to be bamboozeled by the LIEbrals ever again. Alaska has all the oil and gas we need and Palin is going to help us get it. McCain is brilliant!

Is it the 25% that makes you so dense and ill informed? Like every other crisis we are currently confronting, you can blame it on the Clintons!

Clinton cooperated with OPEC by destroying domestic production. Clinton's main weapon was a war of propaganda waged by Al Gore. Gore led the attack on the U.S. energy industry using "green" policies of radical environmentalism. Despite the many variables in domestic energy, there is a basic flaw in the anti-energy argument. It is far more "environmentally friendly" to pump oil from static fields here in the U.S. than it is to import foreign oil in fragile ocean-going tankers.

OPEC in 2001 just squeezes harder, having learned never to let the U.S. go cold turkey again. The Clinton economy was built on artificially low cost foreign energy that has suddenly become very expensive. The United States is now more dependent on foreign energy than ever before.

Oh, so you're saying Obama's shadowy terrorist backers are going to take advantage of the hurricane to quietly sabotage America's oil production in order to mess up the economy and discredit McCain and Christ? Shocking, but no more than what we've come to expect from the freedom-hating Democrats.

I know God creates hurricanes to punish the Unrighteous. But in these dark times of Scientism, those Proud and God mocking Heretics at NASA have spit in the Lords very face by putting weather satellites in "space" (Heaven). So now, the Unrighteous have several days warning before His Just and Righteous retribution arrives. Is there anything we, as True Christians™, can do about this? I was thinking of somehow blocking the highways out of these Damned cities when the Lord's Wrath is imminent.

I guess every cloud has a silver lining. In this case, literally.

I believe this is God's way of testing the darkies of New Orleans, to see if they've learned about the concept of getting to higher ground.

Also, maybe after Gustav they'll do away with the debauchery-fest that is known as Mardi Gras. Someone actually had the gall to tell me that young women make a trade, exposing their bare breasts for strings of beads!

The Republicans were smart enough not to waste money rebuilding a city that God was going to destroy anyway.

I think a great deal can be learned from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible (KJV1611). God's intention was to completely destroy the cities when Lot could not find any righteous people living there. Lot and his family were the only ones spared and were told not to look back as the cities were consumed. Lot's wife disobeyed God and was turned into a pillar of salt when she looked back.

Our Godly president GWB attempted to follow the precepts of our Lord when God first destroyed New Orleans for its depravity. It was only the LIEbral media and the DEMONcrats that insisted on rebuilding the city. On the eve of the Republican Convention Jesus is coming again, and just in time to again remind Americans to vote Republican.

    Glory!
