We have entered a period when the super wealthy is being subjected to stress like never before. Let's take Elon Musk for example. All over the U. S. and maybe in other countries his Telsa cars are being set on fire. His stock in the company just dropped by 50%. Sales are down.

It sounds like a lot but $40T split equally only amounts to $5000 for every man woman and child on planet earth. Not to mention, when you give a man a fish he eats for a day. Far better to make him work for it for a fraction of the amount - for example, the average weekly wage of $153. This ensures he learns to fish for himself rather than becoming an entitled, workshy leech on society.

This is simply part of God's plan. He knows the very wealthy are the secret to a happy and successful country. It's the duty of all of us to make life good for them. That means guarding against criticism of the super rich and praising them for their success.

Luke 15:8-9 What woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

So many today imagine that, if only they could get that extra 100K, life would be so much better. They could play and dance and go to 96-hour electric forest raves. And they did have it – but they lost it somehow, just sort of disappears, you know..

    ..the German pen
    ...the English car
    ....the French hat

..and then it's gone. Less affluent persons, a 1st century homemaker in Jesus' example, need to be more careful. A silver piece could be ¼ to ½ oz. Also shown here, a farthing for comparison.

    ......
    1st century silver piece
    farthing
    other small coin
    purchasing power
    A crate of figs
    purchasing power
    1 Gobstopper
    purchasing power
    20oz Ceylon tea
Critical in any Christian mind will be, once recovered, what to do with the money? Jesus is very consistent here: keeping it for one's own enjoyment is simply not an option. Far more important are the requirements of those safeguarding your spiritual journey – safeguarding you against heresy, against fleshly pursuits and against blasphemy. Satan is active in those three areas and countering his assault is a resource-heavy project. The widow in our next example may not have been employed but clearly didn't hang around places of ill repute (whatever discotheques were called back then) hoping for a boost. Jesus watched to see what would happen.

Mark 12:42-44 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: for all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

To many, clergymen seem very well provided for. "If they sold off the real estate," mockers suggest, "God would have plenty of resources to distribute – food – medicine – accommodation.." (They come up with these lists of things God ought to do.) But that is not a Biblical message. The clergy, together with employers, have real needs and even for those in penury, prudence outranks play in order of importance. It's a small price to pay, after all.

Certainly if would make sense, Sister Mitza, to tax employees and give to employers so the latter can keep people on payrolls. If Trump selects Gov. Burgum from North Dakota we will have two billionaires who understand the importance of the super rich. The super rich need to be told they are important and our government is here to help them. I would not be surprised to see a Trump/Burgum administration publish an 1-800 24 hour help line exclusively for troubled folks among the super rich.

One of those problems* is the anxiety of continuing employment opportunities. For some reason there are a lot of people preferring to work for someone else—rather than for themselves—and although it sounds inefficient to me, in that their efforts need to jointly benefit the employer (otherwise there'd be no reason to employ them in the first place) AND the employee, to buy food and stuff. Anyway, the business needs to stay afloat, whosever it is.

That's right Mr. Mayor. Everyone can be a winner in America. We don't need a contingency plan because we're all going to be winners and anyone who disagrees needs to get out of the way and stop hating America. Get out there and fight to win!! Don't be a loser. We don't need a safety net and social security if we're millionaires! LOL! Change that bad attitude and be No. 1.

Jesus tells us that's how it is, and I've never had a single complaint.
Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts
But now the complaining has gotten out of hand. Job creators can only squeeze so much until the piggies squeal to mama. We need the government to step in. Re: Pray for Less Stress Among the Super Rich

We know that Jesus recommended high-return investments. And clearly for the employer class, as many of His disciples were, capital projects need to be maintained; for example if their fleet was neglected it would soon sink and there'd be no employment for anyone in the fishing industry.
Matthew 25:26-29 [Jesus speaking] His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

    goldsilver
    $3,305,454.91
    $39,450.12
    1 talent
    $6,610,907.73
    $78,928.52
    2 talents
    $16,527,272.49
    $197,321.34
    5 talents
The issue in this parable had been investments of five, two and one talents. The servant who'd been given 5 talents invested wisely and wound up with 10 talents approx. $33 million, if the investment was in gold. But more important here is Christ's description of the servant who at least didn't lose anything and returned what he'd been given safely. Slothful! Wicked!! Deservingly stripped bare!!! These amounts would be necessary to preserve one's capital position and continue providing employment.

Jesus is always so up-to-date and here we see that employment continued even when the master was absent. With excessive demands being made what better solution than for the employer class to reside offshore in what amounts to a floating city with full amenities and appropriate staff laid on? As Jesus points out, their absence doesn't restrict the activities of lower class persons who are still expected to produce solid returns. A decent vessel accommodates some 8,000 but allowing for larger suites and fewer residents, very comfortable living is assured. By staying outside arbitrary coastal limits where appropriate and putting ashore by launch in suitable cities or maintaining one's own helicopter (with the excellent passenger/crew ratio there'd be plenty of room for a few helicopters) the vicious commie agenda need never be encountered at all.

"Arbitrary" is not a nice word and together with His world view in this respect, not a word Jesus ever needed to use. This is one aspect of stress reduction for the super rich on whom so many depend our prayers could well address.

Re: Pray for Less Stress Among the Super Rich

I hope we don't forget the stress of the Super Rich during these times of dramatic change. Most assumed Trump would replace Biden and all would be well. Now what was a tight community of billionaires looking after each other has splintered. They should be supporting one of their own, Donald Trump, but some have now jumped to other non-billionaire politicians.

On the horizon are higher taxes. Profits for some are being squeezed by a shortage of workers and they are demanding more money. For example, the Tyson family reports less demand for pork and higher demands from their Hispanic labor force.

Pray for the Super Rich. We need them in good spirits taking care of us.
