Sister, at least plankton do something. I'm hard pressed to think of a single thing that the "working" class do that cannot be outsourced to China or just not done at all. They talk about "services" - pfft - more government waste, circular make-work that doesn't result in the extraction of profit. Absolutely pointless.

After the Great Off Switch button is finished being pressed we'll see what returns organically when the free market is liberated to optimize society unburdened by lazy, entitled labor.

Not just DOGE - AI in general. CEO's can sleep soundly, it's the entry-level plankton that is becoming obsolete now:

Goldman Sachs maintains that if generative AI lives up to its hype, the workforce in the United States and Europe will be upended. The bank estimates 300 million jobs could be lost or diminished due to this fast-growing technology.

Since way back, we in the higher class have had higher tax rates than those lazy people at the bottom. Lower classes have built up a debt that they owe to us. It's time to start paying us back. Congress and the President are on the right track but loan payments need to be accelerated. I suppose the government could move things along by taking assets of the lower income people the distributing them to us. Honestly, though, I don't want a 20 year old rust bucket car with old diapers on the floor. Cash is what I am owed and that's what I want.

https://x.com/GavinNewsom/status/1931177807767535857 Governor Newsom mentioned that since Californians pay the most taxes to the federal government by dollar amount (80 billion) maybe they ought to consider withholding that money. I agree! People who pay a higher dollar amount in taxes should have the right to withhold that money! Maybe we should have some sort of taxation cap! Let's start with the rich people in California.

    https://www.cato.org/blog/its-tax-se...x%20payments,h ave%20been%20increasing%20over%20time.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) made many significant, but temporary, changes to the individual income tax code to lower tax rates, widen brackets, increase the standard deduction and child tax credit, and more.

Data on income tax payments and estimates from the Treasury Department show that the US federal tax system is highly progressive. The top 10 percent of income earners pay more than 60 percent of all federal taxes and 72 percent of income taxes, shares that have been increasing over time.
The top 10% in the United States are paying about 1.5 trillion in taxes each year, with an effective tax rate of about 21.5%! bottom 50% on the other hand, despite earning about 1.5 trillion put together, paid a measly 51 billion or an effective rate of only 3.3%!

Time to stop freeloading off the donor class. If it applies to states it should apply to individuals and corporations too! Maybe Newsom can get started on repealing the 16th Amendment.

Just when you thought things could not get any worse for the wealthy along comes Biden. Nonstop cruelty. Newly discovered data shows Biden's IRS increased the auditing of income tax returns for the wealthy. It's as if people who are wealthy have no needs and no feelings. Just in time we have President Trump putting a stop to this unwarranted tax collection.

The same is true of income taxes, he pointed out. Rich people can fly to any country in the world. The poor cannot. Because the poor are stuck here they need to realize they need to fund the country. Putting stress on the super wealthy is simply a losing game. Make sure they are happy and everyone will be happy.

This is the same argument I used with my ex-wives. I told them they would never do better than me. In each case I was right.

President Trump is doing his part to put down those liberals who are blowing up Telsa vehicles. He responded strongly to the ridiculous claim that the Jan. 6 attack on the Capital was in the same vein as the attacks on Teslas. Not at all, he said. Blowing up Teslas is far more harmful than was the group who visited the Capital when they were discouraged from doing so. He is so correct. Harming Teslas is a serious crime. The entire Jan. 6 thing was overblown.

"Leave the dear man alone" says it all, Sister Isabella. Elon does not need more stress. For some reason his space age Cybertruck sales tanked a few months ago. In spite of some blowing up and some parts falling off that really are unnecessary, the cars were and remain wonderful vehicles. Now there are acres of them that need buyers. Patriotic Americans need to step up to help Elon.

Now there is late news some liberal stole $1.4 billion of Elon's money. Liberals, stop this right now.

Tesla recalls Cybertrucks for exterior panels that fall off

Tesla is issuing a recall for around 46,000 Cybertrucks sold to date because of an exterior steel trim panel on the side of the windshield that can peel off.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said in a filing that the piece can come off while in motion, which can create a hazard for the driver and other people on the road. The filing states that Tesla became aware of the problem in early January and has identified 151 warranty claims related to this panel coming off since then. The company is not aware of any resulting crashes or injuries, according to the filing.

Glory to , dear Brother Dr. Toole! Just think of all of the money that will be in the coffers now that we are not paying for stupid things like USAid! And with Social Security soon to get chopped down — and Medicaid dismantled restructured — that will yield even more costs-savings. And, the credit — quite naturally — goes to our dearly-beloved President Donald J. Trump. President Trump is the brains behind the plans, setting them in motion, and reaping the benefits.

Just wait until President Trump imposes his next set of tariffs — to be worth many Trillion$, and all happening on Liberation Day!

Trump’s Next Round of Tariffs Will Be His Most Extreme—by a Longshot

Donald Trump is planning to ramp up his ill-advised tariffs and place them on “trillions” of dollars in imports.

The Washington Post reports that most U.S. imports will get hit with the new fees on April 2, on a day Trump is calling “Liberation Day.” The news is causing shock waves among congressional Republicans and economists. Even White House officials are concerned, with discussions taking place involving Vice President JD Vance, aide Peter Navarro, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

The past few weeks of tariffs have upended the U.S. economy, hurting businesses and sending the stock market plunging. This new round of tariffs “seriously could make all of that look like a tempest in a teapot,” Politano said.

May bless our glorious President Trump as he forges ahead — nose to the grindstone — for the good of the blessed !
