Re: Please pray for my estranged sister Loquanda.
So true, and I am honored to call Uncle Rutherford my Black Friend™. As many of us know from our own personal experiences that have been posted to the forum, relatives can often be spiritually disappointing. Jesus Himself found His mother to be a tedious woman (John 2:4) and may have even hated her (Luke 14:26). Being Saved is a personal journey that one's parents or children may not necessarily share with you. We'll point and laugh at them as they burn (Psalms 58:10). For those of the colored race especially, True Christians™ tend to be diamonds in the rough. Even if his "moms" and his many half-"brothas" and half-"sistas," nieces and nephews, and various "aunties" and "granmommas" are all going to Hell, Rutherford managed to accept Jesus into his black heart and walk the one true path. Glory! After all, our Savior arose from a pack of thieving Jews. Good people can come from evil places.
