Re: Is anyone praying for Matt Gaetz?

I see your point, Dr. Toole. It's like liberals have a press release already made up with no name in the blank space. _____ had sex with a minor, __________ paid for sex, _________ was seen with someone not his wife, etc. etc. Then they fill in a name like Matt.

Why can't liberals see the whole person and not just the unimportant little items that make sensational headlines. Matt Gaetz is more than the headlines, a conscientious politician trying to make a positive contribution.

We all need to pray for him.

Re: Is anyone praying for Matt Gaetz?

Liberals are masters of projection. Every time I read a news story about Matt Gaetz I substitute the name Bernie Sanders and see if it still makes sense. Check this out:
    • Women detail drug use, sex and payments after late-night parties with Bernie Sanders and others

    • Bernie Sanders Is Said to Face Justice Dept. Inquiry Over Sex With an Underage Girl

    • DOJ examining whether Bernie Sanders obstructed justice in sex crimes inquiry

    • Bernie Sanders, who has a 2008 DUI arrest, brings up Hunter Biden’s past drug use in impeachment hearing

    • Two women come to Bernie Sanders' defense, say sex and drug-fueled parties did not involve minors

    • One of 15 women Bernie Sanders paid for sex with was an escort and Instagram model who led a cocaine-fueled party after 2019 GOP fundraiser and was paid $17,500 from taxpayers' money

See how ridiculous it sounds? Not to the liberals apparently pfffft.

Gracious, yes, dear Brother Dr. Toole -- Mr. Gaetz is not like some of those other people, the ones who get up to no good: men embroiled in scandals with other men, and such. Mind you, it can be very disheartening when one hears of good, young, upstanding, righteous men, who later admit they have been living a lie -- engaging in a farce -- to save their reputations.

For example, I was most certainly schocked when that happened to the confused, young man that you will see in the video below. I had no idea that he had such tendencies! Who would have thought that this could happen to such a clean-cut, wholesome person? Why, if I didn't know better, I would have assumed that he could have been an actor on that Leaving it to the Beaver television show!

We can all be thankful that such a sad situation is not afflicting that dear, courageous Mr. Gaetz! And, with friends in high places, and with our prayers, he will emerge victorious!

With great ideas like what has appeared here I'm more optimistic than ever our friend Rep. Gaetz is going to come out of this little episode more popular than ever. We Republicans are good at turning things around.

Although if she's underage that'll probably cost a bit more with some negotiation. Overall I don't see this being too bad, probably $250k tops.
One wonders if dear Mr. Gaetz should place a call to our beloved President Trump? I'm sure that President Trump's great wisdom would be most beneficial for Mr. Gaetz's situation!

Frankly, I was a little worried about Matt when his public relations leader resigned. But, today I read he had hired a large public relations firm to replace that staff member.

All of us in politics know how the message is structured is important to a political career. In this case, Matt is accused of sex with minors and payoffs to them for silence. A good public relations firm can fix the message so it does not sound so scandalous. I'm looking forward to his new and successful explanation of all this.

Oh, my goodness, dear Brother Mayor Hold! This is all getting so confusing and complicated. I've just been informed by my sister (Agatha) that a new article says our beloved President Trump was not asked for a pardon by Mr. Gaetz.

Former President Trump on Wednesday denied that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) directly asked him for a blanket pardon, and appeared to defend the congressman amid allegations of sexual misconduct.
“Congressman Matt Gaetz has never asked me for a pardon," Trump said in a statement. "It must also be remembered that he has totally denied the accusations against him.”
    https://thehill.com/homenews/adminis...blanket-pardon

It's getting so, that it's hard to know what to believe, what with the way the fake news, LIE-beral media is infiltrating the newspapers and radio stations. If they keep this up, then it will be no time before the Clinton News Network tries to overtake our dear Fox News! Why, can you imagine the outrage and injustice if that ary woman tries to replace dear Judge Jeanine?

She was 17? At least we know Gaetz isn’t a Muslim. The Prophet would never approve of relations with such a withered, elderly crone.

Re: Is anyone praying for Matt Gaetz?

What the Liberals fail to understand is that the very concept of right and wrong itself comes from God. If God hadn't created Satan who rebelled against Him then nobody would have been around to tempt stupid, silly Eve and then humans wouldn't know good from evil in the first place.

So, when God declares something okay-- like sex with a young woman captured after a violent conflict-- then we are not to judge. But when God says, "no homo stuff", He means No Homo Stuff!

After all, it was Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. . . And sometimes it was Jacob and Leah and Jacob and Rachel and Jacob and the two maidservants and sometimes its okay to have a woman who isn't exactly your wife, but if you're paying her bills and giving her gifts then she has sorta kinda concubine status which is NOT condemned in the Bible!

Seems to me that Matt Gaetz is in the clear by that standard. But Pete Butt-plug and his husband Chastity Bono are in the wrong.

Democrats truly are disgusting hypocrites. They are morally limp when it comes to judging others' unusual lifestyles EXCEPT when it involves Republicans like 38 year old Mr. Gaetz. Who apparently has been living with a 19 year old man, the younger brother of a former girlfriend, since he was 12. No homo - but you wouldn't think it if you relied on the gutter press for your news.

Not to mention his friend, fellow Floridian politician, Joel Greenberg, who was also charged with sex trafficking. Stalking, fraud, bribery, embezzlement, identity theft, forgery and a variety of criminal offenses.

"An indictment states that Greenberg used his access as an elected official to look up information about a girl between the ages of 14 and 17 in a state database, in order 'to produce a false identification document and to facilitate his efforts to engage in commercial sex acts'"
I thought liberals were big softies when it came to lifestyle choices but noo-ooo. All of a sudden when the strap-on's on the other way round they become rigid disciplinarians. Time to call out the hypocrisy.

Well, it just goes to show the hypocrisy and double standards that are now in place, dear Brother Mayor Hold; and I, for one, think this is totally, terribly disgusting of the Demonrats. I mean, under the sleeping Joe Burden Administration, I suppose we can expect plenty of these shady shenanigans during the next four years.

In the article link that I posted earlier, Mr. Gaetz mentions this, too. I'll include a quote from the article, but I am blanking out some of the text, since it is not appropriate for the holy standards of -- and, well, it's just not lady-like to discuss such things.

Washington scandal cycles are predictable, and sex is especially potent in politics. Let me first remind everyone that I am a representative in Congress, not a monk, and certainly not a criminal. Nancy Pelosi once defended President Bill Clinton after he got an intern to [unsavory, unsuitable text removed] in the Oval Office. But when it comes to the allegation that I, a grown man, paid for an adult girlfriend’s expenses? Well, consider that a bridge too far for the power-hungry hypocrites.
