Fear not Sister. Even if the prayers don't work, Mr. Gaetz can appeal to the Supreme Court that Congressmen have blanket immunity. It's a necessary step to prevent tit-for-tat prosecution of our leaders and prevent the United States from sliding into a banana republic. It's a miracle it hasn't already happened, which I attribute to the nation's strong Christian faith thus far. This, of course, is now under threat by Joe Biden which is why we need the Supreme Court to step in.

McCarthy vs. Gaetz: The GOP’s never-ending feud

Kevin McCarthy is escalating his revenge campaign against Rep. Matt Gaetz.

In an interview with POLITICO, McCarthy backed Gaetz’s new Florida GOP primary challenger; a top McCarthy adviser also acknowledged playing a role in vetting that opponent, Aaron Dimmock. And McCarthy delivered a slashing attack on Gaetz, who led the effort to overthrow him as speaker last fall.

“Gaetz is the Hunter Biden of the Republican Party,” McCarthy said. “He’s got an opponent who is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, trained at Pensacola, went to the Naval Academy and flew jets to defend us while Gaetz was getting kicked out of high school, buying coke and paying minors for sex.

Such salacious tittle-tattle has no place in the Republican "Grand Old Party" (or, 's Own Party, as I like to think of it.). Surely, all of this silly nonsense will go away if we pray earnestly and ask to intervene, and to prove that Mr. McCarthy is wrong, and that Mr. Gaetz is innocent!

Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

Oh, I do hate it so when those DEMON-rats made up false strories — and may strike them for this:

Hey now. Personally I was hoping they'd end up married.

MG + MG forever. We could call them MaGa. The best Republican power couple since Ron and Nancy.

Our prayers for Matt will help in so many ways. We pray for justice that the 17 year old harlot is made to pay. As Matt works his way through this little controversy he helps Trump with unwavering support. Keep those prayers coming.

Well someone out there has been praying for Mr. Gaetz. He won reelection in Florida recently with 67.9% of the vote. Let's round that up to sweet 69 and send Mr. Gaetz a prostitute 1969 French Rose as a gift to celebrate.

Coincidentally his friend and former travel partner also went up for a vote. He got 11 years in prison for sex trafficking of a minor, plus a bunch of petty stuff that they don't usually bother with for friends of Congressmen. The federal sex offense was the mistake.

His lawyer entered into the record:
“If the government is so concerned with general deterrence, then why hasn’t it prosecuted the other individuals, including public figures, who were also involved in Greenberg’s offenses?” Mr. Scheller said. “Indeed, Greenberg’s plea agreement refers to the involvement of multiple co-conspirators, including individuals involved in his sex offense.” He added that Mr. Greenberg’s account had been corroborated “by other witnesses and records.”
It must be worrying to be one of multiple co-conspirators knowing that there are witnesses, records and I believe "substantial" cooperation from the convicted today. The judge in fact pointed out:
“He has provided substantial cooperation to the government — more than I’ve seen in 22 years,” Judge Gregory A. Presnell said.
That sounds like a lot of cooperation.

Fortunately Mr. Gaetz's involvement seems to have been forgotten about so he can carry on voting in the House of Representatives on issues not just for Florida but for all of America.

Yes, perhaps uncle or great uncle or some elderly male in the lineage legally within his rights to marry the girl.

I see lots of teeth--a whole lotta teeth--are we sure that Gaetz isn't secretly Mormon? (And his new bride is his cousin to some degree?)

Oh, yes, indeed, dear Brother Dr. Toole. All of this nonsense about what may have happened (which most likely did not happen) is just an excuse for the LIE-beral media to print fake news stories. Certainly, the Clinton News Network, for example, has been working overtime with their hit pieces. Anybody can see the truth for what it is: that Mr. Gaetz is a proper, clean-cut young man, with incredible integrity and morals!

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz — who’s reportedly facing a federal criminal probe for allegedly enticing a minor to travel for sex — is engaged to 26-year-old Ginger Luckey, a California-based analyst.

Goodness only knows that dear Mr. Gaetz needs (and deserves) our prayers, more than ever. My sister (Agatha) just rang to tell me about an article that she had read about Mr. Gaetz somewhere -- I'll include a bit of it here:

Conservative media outlet Newsmax turned down embattled Republican U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz's request for a job earlier this year following previous rejections for tv gigs at both FOX News and OANN. Gaetz reached out for the job at Newsmax shortly after news broke he was the subject of federal investigation into possible sex trafficking of a minor but the network told the Florida representative they were not interested, Reuters reported.

This is nothing other than a Demonrat conspiracy, an attack on a fine, young man, with the nation's best interests at heart. I wouldn't put it past that creepy Clinton woman to have some involvement in this. She's probably hoping that by turning the floodlights onto Mr. Gaetz, everybody will be distracted and forget about Bill and Monica!
