Why are you changing the subject? I thought we were discussing the AID, not this HIV (whatever that is).

I am glad I can share something with you we can agree on. That is the whole trick: people can disagree about things but STILL agree on areas of commonest interest. This is a lesson for the new year.

Aids is the final life threatening part after infected with HIV. Aids is the sickness SYNDROME and HIV is the agent/VIRUS.

HIV causes Aids.

You cant have aids without exposure to the HIV virus. AND not everyone exposed to the HIV virus gets infected, and progresses down the road to Aids.

Actually the body does pretty good job tolerating HIV infection before (without meds) it crashes and burns into Aids. That's when immune system breaks down from years of battling the HIV presence and then gets all vulnerable.

So you avoid HIV contact (latex) and you will never get aids. Also, treat HIV infection with doctor who is SPECIALIST and you may not get progressing down the path to Aids because you took medicine and stunted the HIV in your system so it didn't wreck havock.

Everyone who could be exposed to the HIV virus through blood, mothers milk, needles and sexual male/female moistures should see doctor and be tested to be sure.
