New debate: Slavery based on the Bible

Well, he obviously is not going to post. So, Rev. Rodimer, could you please answer my questions? I will put them again for you.

1) If you guys think slavery is right, why is it bad that pokemon teaches slavery? Logically, if you supported slavery, that would be a great thing.

2) Please do explain your logic. I am sure it is there, because no one would ever post something on such a serious topic without having a real argument unless they were trolling. And i know you are not a Troll Rev.

3) Once again, the game is about enslaving talking, thinking creatures and using them to fight for your amusement.

4) Do you think that enslaving others is OK, and why or why not?

5) Do you think a game where you train pit bulls to fight to the death would be OK? Why or why not? How about doing it in real life? Is that OK?

Again, you did say you wanted this discussion. And "agoodpedestrian" is obviously not going to post any time soon. So please, lets have this discussion.

hello im back ps im not what you say i am. Ps you now the original creator of pokemon died. Second they have a new movie coming out this weekend. The show does not express slavery. The shows main point is to entertain someone. They use themes like together forever stting the pokemon dont mind being caught. In fact some like it. Pss this statement is not related. OMG first of all its a cartoon. Theres no slavery enduced activities in it. And if you see it then good for you. I dont think thats what your supposed to get out of it. We may be a little late with this one, but let us do our best to do something about this monstrosity called Pokemon. Allow me to point out several factors that make this anti-Christian:

• Espouses a neo-pagan worldview -- this is anti-Christian by definition
• Makes children obsessed with "collecting them all" and keeps their attention away from the Bible and homeschool classes
• Creates confusing gender identity issues
• Creates the illusion of "power" based on collective cards instead of through prayer and surrender to God
• Generates aggressive reactions when father throws all cards in the trash
• Encourages retardation: studies show that after a child starts with Pokemon, its IQ drops by 3 to 5 points within a month
• It's a stepping stone to other role-playing games with even more Satanic themes

Please, Brothers and Sisters, let us pray that this evil game gets banned and ALL Pokemon cards ever collected will be BURNED!
