Re: Pray for my son's Bar Mitzvah!

    Praise Yahweh!

In all, we collected $2810 for Benjamin's Bar Mitzvah. I was expecting substantially more from the 20 guests that attended, but I am still somewhat thankful given the state of the economy.

Any Gentiles of Freehold that wish to belatedly wish my son God's blessing as a Jewish man are still free to do so. I would ask that you make your gifts worthy of recognition.

Hmm.. so your son's bar mitzvah was held on Shabbat?

I also find it strange, one professing to be such a devout joo, would be ON HERE prior to Shabbat being officially over.

Obviously trying to squeeze money out of people you barely know is far more important to you than your stupid religious ritual!

I imagine some of us might be willing to contribute to a good Christian College fund for him.

But what do children need money for, really? To go out "hotrodding"? To buy the snugly indecent new clothes their parents won't get for them? To install their own phone line in their room so they can chat away with who-knows-what, far into the night?

What does your teenage son need all this cash for? Did he get some young lady "in trouble"???

As a matter of fact, I WILL pray for your son.

I may not be Jewish, but I'll pray to whatever divine force is out there that your son has a happy, successful Bar Mitzvah and that your lord accepts him totally.

Well, the prayer is appreciated. Never have I seen the antisemitism I endure at LBC. Most of these Christians are simply jealous of the Jewish ability to build and retain wealth. The persecution, I am accustomed to, as are my people. Including their Jesus who most certainly was a Jew.

It was a great day for Benjamin as fellow Jews and Yahweh blessed my son with
                  substantial wealth.

                  May Yahweh bless you.

Re: Pray for my son's Bar Mitzvah!

Mr. Redstone, I do not understand why you would come to a Christian forum to ask for prayers for your son. Do you value Christian prayers? I mean, I know God does, of course, but since you hate God, why should our prayers be requested?

I don't come into your synagogue and ask you to pray for me. I can't afford it.

From what I hear, it can be very pricey to get a good seat in temple. Are those seats up high the cheap seats, like bleachers in a stadium? And are they the most prestigious even if they don't offer the best view?

Since Jews like to hang on to their money, the members of the congregation who hang on to the most probably don't shell out for the more expensive seats. Therefore, the best Jews are the ones who don't splurge on the nicer seats.

In OUR houses of worship, the best seats are for the best Christians. And the best Christians are the best tithers.

                    Shrewdly Yours,

                    Handmaiden
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

Re: Pray for my son's Bar Mitzvah!

Being a True Christian™ historian, I'm fairly sure the Bar Mitzvah is where the young joo is given his first drink of gentile blood, preferably that of a Christian baby.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

I was under the impression that Jews never spoke out the Lords name or used it in writing.
I have even seen them spell God as G-d, in order to not use His name in vain.

I don't know any joos myself, because the Germans took care of most of them back in the 40's. But I've heard that Bar Mitzvah is in fact the day were joo boys drink the blood of little Christian babies, just before the parents chop their little wiener off while the guest playes the jew's harp. Anyway, that's what I've heard.

We certainly never take His name in vain. Not even as casually as you do when you say "Thank G-d!". And Yahweh is seldom spoken of outside the temple or synagogue.

But I need a means of communicating with Christians here of whom I am in reference to. YHWH or "Yahweh" is more appropriate for the Jew than "G-d".
If Baptists understood ancient, metaphorical Hebrew at all, and it's lack of "vowels" as it is translated into "English" (which is futile), there would never be any need to mention Yahweh at all, is He is understood in all of His infinite glory.
