Of course. God is a righteous God, and he hates Japan for their iniquities. Therefore, we are glad that God punished them, like the angel in Revelation thanked God for giving the inhabitants of the earth blood to drink as a punishment for their iniquity:

Revelation 16:4-6:
And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

Another common misconception about God. He doesn't love everyone, and He even hates some people:

Malachi 1:2-3:
I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Therefore, we should hate other people as well:


Luke 14:26:
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Why did Jesus have to sacrifice Himself on the Cross?
Why does Jesus promise to kill most the human race except for a small faithful minority when He returns?
Why have you never consider these questions before now?

I just can't realize how cruel and intollerant you are! You are THANKING for the deaths of tousands of people, hundrets who are homless, have nothing to eat and probably lost someone beloved?! Do you really think this is the will of God? YOU are insulting him right now!

Of course it's the will of God. Everything that happens is the will of God. Even The Asian Tribune has gotten the message and calls it a "devastation of biblical proportion".

God is so good! I have been praying for such a long time that the Japanese eyes be opened to the power and love of God! This earthquake is definitely an answer to years of prayer! Praise!!

Our Lord can be a little absent minded at times and it is wrong to base conclusions about His actions on your own feelings about the people involved.

You have to know your prayers are only heard by Jesus and if you pray to someone else it gets remembered when He judges you. We are the most open minded people in the world. Now explain to us how a 9.0 earth quake, 23 foot tall tsunami and a nuklear disaster is NOT consistent with the Acts of God's Unconditional Tough Love as described in The Bible. Sure, it may appear natural but that kind of pilling on of disaster upon disaster to kill masses of people over some obscure sin is how God rolls.

Such a disaster is totally constant with Our Lord Noodle, after all the Flood was an accident....

Then the FSM said, "Fine, I'll just cook for myself," and He produced a great Colander of Goodness and He did collect water in an enormous pot, which He heated; and He did drop in a heaping portion of pasta and slowly simmer the sauce for so long that the original humans weren't even around anymore when He was finally ready to eat.
