I have a question for you.

Do you believe that God is omniscient (all-knowing) and omnipotent (all-powerful)?

I'm going to assume your answer is "Yes, of course", because if your answer is no, then your "god" isn't much of a god.

That means that God knew in advance that the quake and tsunami were coming. He knew exactly what would happen, who would drown, who would be irradiated and die horribly in ten years of thyroid cancer, etc.

It also means He was perfectly able to stop it, or move the tectonic plates slowly and gently so as to avoid the devastation.

He DIDN'T.

So now you say "it's a natural disaster", when God created nature . . . and that God is "doing what He can to save the people".

He can do ANYTHING. That's what it means to be GOD.

God knew these people would die horribly, in terror. He allowed it to happen. He knows that millions are now suffering. He has allowed it to happen, and continues to allow it to happen.

Why? I don't know for sure. Perhaps He's baptising Japan.

But how DARE you say God is "doing what He can", which implies He is not ALL-powerful? How DARE you say that something is "a natural disaster" instead of an Act of God, the author of Nature?

You should apologize to us, and to Jesus, for insulting Him.
