Im sure God is trying to finish the job he started 2 days ago so lets cheer him on with prayer!

I just ran across this post and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see people of like mind on a fundamentalist christian web site. Being an atheist I cannot join with you in prayer for a nuclear reactor meltdown (as that would be hypocritical to pray to a god in which I do not believe and I am always at least honest, if not anything else) but I can certainly join you in rejoicing to see the outcome. I have felt ever since the nuclear disaster in Japan started to unfold that this is an excellent illustration of natural selection playing out before our very eyes!

Clearly the flawed geographical placement and design of the Japanese nuclear reactors was the result of genetic flaws in the race. Now we see that evolutionary process is eliminating these weak minded folk from the gene pool. The race will be stronger and better able to survive as a result, at least in the long run. An evolutionist is always concerned with the long run as it took billions of years to take us to the point we find ourselves today.

So I say bravo to you, albeit that you may have arrived to this view by different means we can at least fellowship together in the pragmatic consequences of our views.

The most confusing aspect for me is that Sister Pamela seems to have been moonlighting with the false Christians in her spare time. I am baffled why someone would take part in this AND another denomination concurrently.

The irony here is that if you do believe in God, then you should probably endorse this thread whole heartedly. Surely it was an act of God, and to pray for the well being of people in Japan would fly in the face of the action actions of God. If he wanted them well he wouldn't have washed them off the surface of the earth, would he?

They need lots of water for cooling. That's why reactors are almost always next to the ocean or a river or lake.

I think everyone is missing the real point of God triggering a melt down in Japan; sure it will kill some Japanese, but who cares? God's killed at lest 10,000 so far. God is going for the Gold on this one - a melt down will irradiate the US West Coast. The gay enabling, fem Nazi, environmentalists of California, Oregon and Washington are going to pay the price for spitting in Jesus face on this one.

That is what really counts.

I'm afraid not much will happen to the US. I mean we have already set off dozens of nukes on our own soil. Japan has been nuked twice... a leaky reactor is not going to be much compared to that. As far as disasters go, this one is actually pretty weak. It just feels so strong due to all the footage of it - we all know how much those Japanese love their cameras, right?!
