                    Let me guess, a few select verses from John, maybe a few others from Hebrews, perhaps Genesis (just the first chapter, obviously), and call it good? We have a word for people like you: "salad bar Christians", people who pick and choose whatever parts of the Bible they want to believe because it allows them to continue in their obominations without fearing Hell. Well, I'm afraid Jesus won't agree with you when you recite the two or three verses about Love that you know, and instead He'll tell you a few of His own while He spews you into Hell...

                      I have a name for people like me as well - followers of an eclectic path. I don't accept any book of scriptures or any pre-fab religion 100% - I think they all contain some wisdom and some dreck.
